The community is only 15 minutes from the University of the South in Sewanee. It is also a short drive from Nashville, Chattanooga, and a couple hours from Atlanta. Located atop Monteagle Mountain halfway between Chattanooga and Nashville, Monteagle is the gateway to the outdoor adventure within South Cumberland State Park (3 minutes away), The famous Caverns (featuring both cave tours and doubling for cave concerts), and Clay Shooting nearby. Properly and tiny house were great. Loved the little creek and fire pit area. Hammocks and swing was so relaxing. We seen quite a bit of wildlife. It's not a far drive from Nashville or Chattanooga, but feels removed and tranquil. It is even more private and tucked away than it looks in the pictures. While it's part of a tiny home community, it's at the end of a long driveway, dipping down into it's own little haven, surrounded by trees and a creek. I saw more deer than people in the three days I was there. And the home itself is very nice, with all the modern amenities you'd want. Even standing at 6'8", I found it a comfortable amount of space. Just perfect for us 3 girls. We went to The Caverns for a concert and this place was just 15 minutes from there. Very relaxing by the creek. The place is better than pictured and wasn’t expecting it be down in a hole by creek away from everyone else. We will be booking again! Communication was excellent.
