"The spectacular view of Lake Como and surrounding mountains from the terrace made the drive up the steep winding single track road worthwhile. Deborah was a warm, welcoming and responsive host. The large smart TV allowed us to sign in to our streaming accounts easily, The low ceilings in the rustic bedroom under the eaves and the narrow, steep wooden spiral staircase to reach it were atmospheric, although getting downstairs to use the bathroom in the night was something of an adventure. The nearby restaurants (walkable) were lovely, and we particularly enjoyed the simple but high quality food at Passer. Like other reviewers we walked down the hill to the lakeside at Menaggio but certainly needed a taxi to get back. An enjoyable stay in a lovely setting."

"Like-Location, pool and location and front staff. Dislikes, for a $1000. a night charge no closet was provided. The shower was a slip hazard, we had to lay towels down to prevent slipping. Not allowed to order drinks at the bar, when there was no activity."

"Very good value, nice room with a beautiful lake view. Modest/basic breakfast buffet. Location is about 20 minutes by bus from Menaggio and the bus stops right in front of the hotel (across the street to go to Menaggio). The bus ride is fun and very scenic. The area is just beautiful, breathtaking. Very nice stay. Thank you,"

"Just a good overall value stay, it's quite a far walk to the waterfront and town, not too bad walking downhill but walking uphill all the way back in teh summer months isn't ideal if you're wearing dinner wear. Decent views, rooms are dated and smallish, breakfast and staff are great though, there is a pool which is great and the onsite parking is a bonus as well. I'd stay again but if you want a true Lake Como experience you will want to splurge and get a waterfront property"

"Schön eingerichtete und aufgeteilte Wohnung, im kühleren Erdgeschoss die Schlafzimmer, im Dachgeschoss ein großer Wohnraum mit Küche und Panoramabalkon. Super Blick auf den See. Allerdings ohne Klimaanlage und die Sonne heizt den Raum sehr auf. Es gibt aber viele Ventilatoren. Etwas schwierig ist die Parksituation, aber man findet nach etwas suchen letztlich immer einen Parkplatz. Der Ort Aquaseria ist nicht überlaufen, nicht so super-chic und teuer wie Orte weiter südlich, und hat einen schönen Strand, nachmittags auch mit Schatten. Man geht 5 min dorthin über Treppen und schmale Wege. Die Gastgeberin ist (per Messenger) äußerst hilfsbereit und freundlich. Danke für alles!"

"This is a beautiful place to stay, Family run, mountain views which are beautiful, peaceful location, friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are clean, large wardrobe space, small side tables with lamps, double bed, dressing table, good sized bathroom with shower. The rooms are cleaned daily with fresh towels. Breakfast provided Eggs, Croissants, fresh fruit, yogurts, cereals, also cooked breakfasts coffee machine, freshly squeezed orange juice. Good evening menu with freshly made pizzas, pasta, desserts etc. The Quality of the food served is very good and freshly made. They also do take away pizza and this is also used by the local people , who are also welcomed as customers in the restaurant and bar. There is also a bus down into the town within a 5 minute walk from the hotel which only costs 2 euros. I would definitely recommend this hotel and we will hopefully visit again in the future....."
