"I booked two rooms and one of the rooms had non-working A/C and a back door to a common veranda that wasn't possible to lock. The management promised to refund the room but no refund was made. Hotels.com told me the property refused to refund. They had washer and dryers that automatically shut off at night making it impossible to open up the washer door to retrieve your clothes - the door was locked as the program wasn't finished. When I tried to call them for support, I got no answers. Location...

"Loved every bit of our stay at Verdmont. The owners are wonderful and make it such a great experience - they offer so many services (like beautiful breakfasts, dinners, yoga classes, wine tours, anything you could want!) and the property itself is so charming and relaxing. Has been our favourite stay so far on our honeymoon in Italy, not one detail is missed at Verdmont and it really shows. Grazi!"

"Wir haben uns dort wohl gefühlt. Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber. Das Mobiliar etwas überaltert, aber gemütlich. Die Vermieterin spricht deutsch und ist um das Wohlbefinden der Gäste sehr bemüht. Wir waren nur für eine Nacht da, wenn man aber als Selbstversorger mit Familie sich dort aufhalten möchte, ist die Küche großzügig ausgestattet."

"Great opportunity to sleep in a castle. Nice room with antiques and nice piece of furniture. Overall, a great place to stay although the church's bell played all night long. Breakfast was nice, but a bit early due to an unexpected commitment (of the manager). "

"The house is beautifully presented inside and the surrounding countryside is stunning. The swimmingpool is a great size and kept the children entertained all day every day. We hired a car for the duration of our 2 week stay and I have to say that we would have been lost without it. Alessia was fabulous, she was always available when we needed her and there was nothing that was too much trouble.
