"Have stayed here on a few occassions and love the quiet, calm surroundings The hotel is situated in the old town and as such ‘new’ structures cannot be built, so everything must fit into existing. This hotel does a great job of that and provides a calm, quiet, comfortable and pleasant stay. It is one of my favourite places in all of Greece to enjoy breakfast, you leave feeling relaxed and content."

"Bit of magic in this place. It's slightly surreal . The room was lovely. Bed comfortable. Roomy. Shower bit cramp but not a problem. Bottle rose in fridge was nice. Very welcoming on arrival. Shown all facilities. Watch slippery steps in this gem of a place as you wander around getting fit and in a perpetual dream. Touristy but authentic and you feel the long dramatic history, if you have a soul."

"Alas is a great place for you couples, old couples or families in general. At Alas you have access to the pool, beach, spa, sauna, jacuzzi. The staff is great and Demetria the manager is great! All staff like the bar attendant Dimitri, Stravroula the server are all great! If you plan a vacation in the area stay at Alas."
