The region enjoys a privileged location at the gateway to the Basque Country, Spain and the Pyrenees, thanks to its exceptional natural environment, including the Courant d'Huchet nature reserve, its unique terroir and its deeply-rooted traditions. On the pilgrimage route to Santiago de Compostela, Moliets offers a variety of leisure activities and discoveries to suit every taste. For sports enthusiasts, there's a wide choice of water sports - surfing, kitesurfing, bodyboarding, canoeing, sailing on Lac de Léon, as well as golf on the famous Moliets golf course, tennis, quad biking, surfcasting...
