It is located downtown in the historic "DETONTI SQUARE" district. Very quiet with beautiful old homes and large oak trees. It is only 5 blocks from lively Dauphin Street with all of the restaurants, bars and other activities. When you pull in driveway entrance pull straight forward to park. Being in the de Tonti Square neighborhood was absolutely right decision. Old Mobile, walkable, safe, friendly people--great architecture and old Live Oak trees. The windows don’t provide a view which was fine by me as it added to the sense of security. My cat enjoyed the outdoor sounds as they could be easily opened. There was too much furniture and too many accessories for my liking, but I just moved some things around and made the space more workable. One of the things I liked the best was the big bathroom and long countertop which held all of my cosmetics, lotions, etc. There was more than ample towels and bedding available; plus the kitchen was well stocked. Also, it was really nice to park my car off the street. St. Louis Market is only a couple blocks away and fantastic for picking up groceries and/or creating your own salad or hot meal.
