We didn’t try there food there, but ate dinner at a nearby izakaya. They didn’t speak much English and didn’t even have an English sign, so we had to rely on Google Maps and directions from people to find it. It went surprisingly well to communicate with the staff despite that - we all made an effort. We got the idea from pictures that that they had an outdoor onsen, but that wasn’t open, when we visited apparently (we didn’t inquire). But we liked the onsen water here (High on radon, which apparently is healthy in low dosage - the population in Misasa Onsen has lower cancer rates than the rest of the country, we read).
