Excellent small hotel, ideal for a stopover when driving to Portugal as situated on the main route through central Spain to Portugal. Nice to walk into Miranda de Ebro after a long drive. Used many times.
Situated on an industrial estate it didn't look promising. What a surprise. It was comfortable, clean and modern. The staff were extremely helpful and efficient. Check in was good.
The food in the restaurant was good as was the service. The cafeteria/bar was pleasant too.
The hotel is ideally situated for the ferry at Bilbao being just an hour away.
The hotel was just off the motorway and very easy to find. It is a very basic non frills hotel but it is very clean and modern. The staff were very friendly and efficient and they made a big fuss of our two dogs. An enjoyable stop gap and I would definitely stay here again

Nice hotel, easy access, friendly staff and helpful, being next door to a petrol station handy shop on site . Bar restaursnt and cafeteria and small terrace all good
Was a one night stop travelling , good value for money
This is our favourite hotel stop en route from Portugal to U.K. it’s easy to find just off the main route and has safe on site parking. Staff are all friendly and welcoming and as a bonus for us most speak good English. The room is in excellent condition and very clean. The bed is comfortable and the bathroom is spacious, clean and always has hot water. The windows are openable which I like because I prefer not to sleep in air conditioning however this sometimes makes it a bit noisy. I recommend this hotel for an overnight stay.

Disappointing location!
The staff, restaurant and room all good. But hotel is not in a nice area! It is attached to a petrol station and there are a lot of HGV’s parked up at the back. There was a cafeteria there too with tables outside at the front. There were some noisy, unpleasant drunks there with loose dogs roaming and following us to the door of the hotel. Not a good feeling on arrival won’t stay again!
The hotel was idea, a short walk into the lovely, atmospheric town.
Excellent breakfast and the staff were wonderful. Present, attentive and always smiling.
We will happily use this hotel again.

Our stay at Abades Via Norte in Miranda de Ebro could not be faulted. Reception was excellent. The bar was open and spoke good English. The restaurant was also excellent. The menu was in English and was excellent value at 12.50 for 3 courses and endless wine. The hotel was behind a garage but who cares? It was a bed for the night, it was quiet and we'd happily stay here again. Although we were on our way to France it's really convenient for Bilbao too.

Reception.
Great hotel for a short stay. It’s very clean and comfortable and provide s good range of toiletries. The staff are very friendly and helpful and speak good English! We will stay again!
Third time staying here so usually satisfied but thus time was not satisfied with breakfast. Despite having pre booked breakfast there was very little left when we got there and the coffee machines didnt work correctly

Good morning!
I'm sorry to hear that Lynda.
I guess it was due to lack of stock or people getting up early and eating most of it already. Hope next time will be different, if you ever come back here.
Best regards and have a nice week,
Pablo (Reception).
A modern hotel with everything you needed. We only stayed the one night but it was a good stopover on the way from southern Spain to the ferry at Bilbao. Situated behind a garage, also lorries parked, but didn't get any noise at night. Reasonably priced, would use again.

Bar staff let them down.
The room and stay was very good, the bar staff when we went down to get something to eat were rude however. As we could not speak any Spanish the way that they treated us, there were three of them behind the bar, was as though they treated us as a joke. The lady server for breakfast whilst not the happiest person was good. The receptionist was very good. There is nothing in the area and we knew that. The hotel is newish so standards of facilities are good.
Affordable, clean hotel in a perfect spot for sightseeing in Miranda de Ebro. Staff are extremely helpful and friendly. Breakfast was a nice surprise with several options . Would certainly stay again.
Hotel with modern rooms, cafe and restaurant which was convenient on our route from Segovia to Bilbao behind the petrol station. The room was comfortable but the bedside lights weren’t independent so you couldn’t read separately. The area was quiet in spite of all the lorries parked there but there was a ticking noise in the room which must have come from the heating system but it didn’t stop us sleeping. The cafe food was OK but the floor wasn’t cleaned from when we ate mid afternoon to breakfast next day and had rubbish over it. The restaurant part where breakfast was served was clean and had a good buffet breakfast.
Heading north the hotel is not that well signposted but once spotted it was surprisingly good, albeit with a slightly out of season feel on a Sunday in November. Excellent rooms and staff very helpful, would happily use again now I can find it in the dark!
The rooms were lovely Modern and very clean . The hotel is perfect if you want a bed for the night onroute to your holiday destination . The restaurant was ok but pricing wasn't very clear and we paid far too much for an average steak dinner. The hotels location is not pretty as it is part of a petrol station complex but if its a good nights sleep you want it is fine.
The hotel is attached to a petrol station. Not a place to stay if you want a stroll and a choice of restaurants, shops etc. However, we had really good inexpensive food in the restaurant and there is a shop (part of the filling station) where you can buy essentials for travel and it has an excellent coffee machine.
