With 50 acres at your disposal, there is no shortage of space to explore, hike, or simply revel in the beauty of nature. Immerse yourself in the vibrant colors of wildflowers, breathe in the crisp mountain air, and let your senses come alive. Whether you seek a relaxing getaway or an outdoor adventure, Starview Ranch creates cherished memories that will last a lifetime. This listing at Starview Ranch includes: The Main House is at the top of the property with 3 bedrooms, laundry room, full kitchen and 1 full bathroom (bathroom 1 - please note that there is only one bathroom inside the main house). There is an expansive front patio, a wisteria covered patio off the sun bedroom and the back patio has a large dining table with stunning views of the Sierras. Just a short walk from the back is a fire pit with Adirondack chairs and benches. Sleeps 6-8. The wellness area is located about 400 ft downhill from the main house and includes a 75 ft lap pool, 8 person jacuzzi, wood burning sauna imported from Finland, cabana with a toilet, sink and shower (bathroom 2), seating for 14, a large gas grill and a 400 sq ft fully equipped gym. Starview Ranch is a working ranch and is home to 3 cows plus an apiary with active beehives situated well away from the dwellings. There are several trails and interesting things to see around Starview Ranch. Feel free to explore around the property but keep a safe distance from the bee hives at the apiary. Also, the fence surrounding the apiary is electrified. The main driveway along the property is an access road to a neighboring property. No one is currently living there but rarely a vehicle may drive through. The "sunset spot" near the garden is the perfect place to enjoy views of gorgeous sunsets over Squaw valley (even better with a glass of wine). The fireplaces, sauna and fire pit should not be used during summer months when the fire risk is high. The gas BBQ grills at the wellness area and at the cottage can be used year-round. I would like to remind guests that this property is out in the beautiful wilderness. Along with that comes both large and small animals that live here, whether we like them or not. You are in the great outdoors and may encounter wildlife. If doors or windows (without screens) are left open these critters and many bugs tend to find their way in. I recommend only opening up the screened windows and ensuring doors are not left open. Also, no matter how rigorously the house is cleaned (and I take cleaning very seriously) there may be some dead bugs or a small cobweb that was created in the short time from cleaning to your check in... again this is just a fact of life on a 50 acre ranch in the middle of nowhere. Starview Ranch is located in a remote area in the Sierra Nevada foothills. The drive to the property from either Kings Canyon Drive or from the 245 involve curvy mountain roads with switchbacks and sharp turns which can also be narrow in some places. Also, the drive to Kings Canyon National Park is a windy mountain road. One more thing to note: The 3 cows on the property will keep their distance but are generally friendly. They will be even more friendly if you offer them apples ;) Also, the cow pies are just part of the charm of life at Starview Ranch. One last piece of advice: Pack and wear clothes that you don't mind getting a little dusty/ dirty. We really enjoyed watching the sunsets with the 360° views from the sunset spot, and spending time at the Wellness Center relaxing in the pool. We really appreciated having the gym with AC as it got very hot during our stay. Our chef friend found the kitchen to be great to cook in and well supplied with appliances. We had everything we needed and more! This is a beautiful home and the host appears to have put in a lot of effort to make it a wonderful experience for his guests. There is a lot of attention and detail put into providing the luxury that is in the name "Luxury Ranch". It truly is! I don't write reviews but it was a perfect getaway place and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The sunset patio is fantastic and allows for some of the best views and then you come back in an hour and enjoy views of our stars with no light pollution to intefere with the views. The amenities are all as advertised and the location is clean and everything is well labeled, making for a great stay. Thanks for this memorable family experience at your ranch! Words and pictures cannot describe how this property is a hidden gem. We live in Pasadena and Starview Ranch was the perfect escape for us. Dean is a great host and has really put a lot of thought into everything included with the property. Sometimes when I travel I take extra things because a lot of vacation rentals do not include them, but this property has it all. I even came prepared with cleaning products, but the home was completely spotless. This was so refreshing for me because I like things to be very clean and organized. Originally we were supposed to spend our days traveling to Sequoia for my nephews troop activities, but due to a storm the troop packed up and left. We spent each day at the ranch and had the best time swimming, hiking, cooking as a family, talking, star gazing, watching the sunsets, feeding the cows, playing games and much more. The days we spent here really felt magical. Everyone also reported having the best sleep ever. Friday, I was able to work and attend meetings virtually without any spotty Wifi. Dean was also very responsive when we messaged him with questions. He is an excellent host and really makes sure you enjoy your stay. We hope to return again and hopefully we can get up each season to enjoy the change of the landscape. All of us feel very grateful and fortunate to have spent time at Starview Ranch and we hope to visit in the future. Thanks Dean! ##### Kathy A.
