One of the most popular things to do in Mindo is to hike. The hike to the Cascadas took us around 21/2 hours and was well worth it for the incredible views. However, I would recommend for those who are low budget travelers but who are willing to take a break and rest in their amazing hot springs. They do have hiking trail, but it is the best not to go in the midst of rain. You will slip and get yourself all muddy. I learn that that hard way.
