"Perfect if you are attending gullivers! Really fun for the children-dinosaur theme was great and lots to do once checked in, good disco venue and ice creams after. Restaurant was also perfectly fine for a quick bite. The lodge itself was a bit dated and in need of a spruce up but fine for a few nights. Our boiler was not operating properly so not much hot water either. Great to have an oven and hob, kettle, toaster, a fridge freezer and microwave."

"Clean room, pleasant temperature, comfy bed and duvet. Only one chair and no table which was ok for one night but wasn’t comfortable sitting in bed to watch tv. Bathroom fans noise in bedroom but go off eventually after light off. Room 219 had some noise but nothing major from revellers outside in the alley at 2am . Bathroom showing slight signs of wear and tear. I struggled to turn on cold water bath tap but the shower was good. Liked the toiletries. Tissues and glasses are a bonus. Only four coffee sachets and one or two more would have been appreciated. Breakfast was okay. Was asked if I’d like to order poached eggs which was a thoughtful gesture. Was disappointed the cereal is no longer in the individual boxes so I didn’t eat. Had a croissant and added Brie and bacon which was good. Reasonable selection on buffet overall. Some items such as melon wasn’t replenished which was a pity."

"The room was fine, although could do with a little paint touch-up where repairs had been carried out, but it didn't affect our stay, so no real issue. We slept well with the blackout curtains and great to have aircon in a British hotel. All the staff we interacted with were helpful, nothing was too much bother. The breakfast was lovely, with a good choice and great service times. The chef and other staff were lovely and accommodated my fussy need for fresh eggs and I particularly appreciated the good quality sausages - again nothing was a problem for the staff. We immediately re-booked for next year's festival when we returned as we enjoyed our stay and was good value - thank you. Thank you ."
