We were delighted to be 'guests of the day'. The hotel and staff were amazing. It gave us a sure start for the following day. Breakfast was tops, beds so comfy..we were spoilt, thank you. Just a small tip: it would be handy to have a hand grip to get out of the bath/shower.

The hotel is good but was not happy about parking conditions to pay even though I ended up getting it for free. Overally it was great apart from being too hot at night as using fan was noisy and disturbing our sleep.

Staff are great! But watch out for room location!
Very friendly and attentive staff. The hotel's main areas were clean and functional for meeting up with other business parties. The food at the hotel was excellent, including the bar menu options. The bedroom area was clean and functional but looked onto the foyer/ restaurant area, which was noisy. There was a door onto a balcony but this could not be opened and with no other window the room was slightly claustrophobic ( the air-con system was rather noisy also). The bathroom could have been cleaner and some of the fixtures replaced. Saying that the staff were great and on that basis, I would be willing to stay here again but request a room on the outside of the building that had windows which could be opened.

Great stay, we got selected as guests of the day so we had a free room upgrade with complimentary chocolates on arrival which was a lovely surprise! Hotel was great, staff were friendly & helpful too

Highly recommended
Beyond my expectations. Staff were all friendly, helpful and festive. Room was comfortable and clean. Pool and gym much better than most hotel facilities. Ate in the bar and food was very good

Overall good recommendation
Room and hotel overall great. Parking on site billed as £15/ day so we chose to go in opposite car park for less as shopping and celebrating. On leaving a notice said parking free if early check out but this may not always be the case. Stay was spoilt by a continous noise through out the night which made it hard for me to sleep. This appeared to be a known issue for 4th floor rooms and may not be an issue for some people. Breakfast was plentiful and enjoyable. Ideal stay for xmas shops and centre. Would tay again on different floor.

Good Hotel
The hotel is good currently but will hopefully be better once the refurbishment is completed. We were in one of the old rooms and it was a bit tired,old furniture,flush didn't work properly on toilet,air conditioning didn't work correctly. On the plus side the staff are all very pleasant and we also had breakfast which was excellent value with plenty of choice. One other thing to note is check the parking options as we paid £15 to park but then worked out we could of public parked for £6 right next to the hotel,so check your options if taking your car.
