"Carlos picked us up from the ferry in Hvar and drove us to the apartment. He carried our luggage to our 2nd floor apartment which was big, clean, cool with two balconies. We were given great recommendations and Carlos was so friendly and genuinely nice. We walked every morning and back each evening from the main promenade. Maybe 15 minutes but well worth it. "Nice apartment, very close to the lovely resort of Vrboska (one of the nicest places we stayed) where there are a number of good restaurants. Lovely hosts, very helpful and kind, will put any washing through the machine. Seperate bedroom, nice balcony, a smallish kitchen area, cupboards are high but there are steps available. Hvar Island is beautiful and well worth a visit. Really enjoyed our stay, but not a Spa Hotel if you want steam rooms etc."
