There's loads of off street parking and an acre of garden to explore, and if you're arriving in the right season, plenty of fresh produce to enjoy.

Our property has three bedrooms and will fit six people. All bedrooms have a queen bed in each.

As local produce makers and caterers we can advise you on all the best places to visit in the central west, and the best ways of getting there.

Mark and Sandra's place was just what we were after - warm, cosy and comfortable, with more than enough room for three couples. They're great hosts who are passionate about the area and happy to share their local tips and recommendations. The unexpected food and beverage goodies were a nice touch and much appreciated. We felt right at home from the moment we arrived and thoroughly enjoyed our stay :-)

We enjoyed our three nights stay at Pitt & George. The Millthorpe location is great and handy to Orange for visiting family. PS there is no winery experience but had to answer the question to leave review!

A home away from home.

Three bedrooms, a massive bathroom and a comfortable sitting and dining room makes for very pleasant stay. The hosts are very welcoming and a wealth of knowledge with advice and recommendations for the region. A short walk into town was also very convenient.

Warm & comfy

A lovely property that was welcoming & warm. Beds were comfortable. The property decor was very nice, with photographs & prints adorning the walls. Plenty of books & games to entertain you. We were there in a very cold artic weather burst, so temperatures outside were extremely cold & rain, so grateful for the warmth. Property was clean & well set up.

Little Gem in Millthorpe

Directions for how to find the property were very clear. Sandra was very welcoming and provided us with all the information we needed for our stay. The rooms were beautifully furnished and were very spacious. The bathroom was enormous! The provision of an outdoor space that overlooked the garden was an added bonus. We were extremely happy we decided to place an order for dinner with Sandra and Mark. The succulent lamb and delicious vegetables were enjoyed by all. A great place to stay while exploring Millthorpe and the surrounding area.

Relax with ambience, tranquility and privacy

It was easy to relax within the Pit and George environment. Mark and Sandra provide excellent service and hospitality. The meal they created for our first night was both delicious and healthy. We had enough food to stretch over 2 meals. Much of the produce is either sourced from the garden or locally. The location of the property itself adds to the tranquil serenity of Millthorpe and the gardens provide a lovely quiet ambience to wonder within. Each room in the right wing of the house is practical, comfortable and spacious. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will recommend Pit & George to friends, neighbours and relatives. A big thanks to Mark and Sandra for providing homely and welcoming accommodation in Millthorpe.
