We are only 16 miles to Baxter State Park. Adventure awaits you in this 4 season beautifully redone home. The groomed snowmobile trail which connects to hundreds of miles of ITS is 150 yards from the property. The home has three bedrooms, two with queen beds, one has a full. There is even a bonus bedroom upstairs for the kids which has two twin beds. The pellet stove is a great feature to relax by during the winter months. Snowmobile, hike, canoe, fish, hunt, whitewater raft, cross country ski minutes away from Baxter and Katahdin Woods National Monument. Very clean, well furnished/stocked, stove was nice, patio was nice, good communication with host. Neighborhood was a weird mix of nice clean homes and sketchy Detroit-like run down ones. I think the town in general is seeing some rough times but it does make you want to keep the doors locked. The house is lovely and has plenty of comfortable spots to sit and relax. It is a very short walk into town, and an easy drive to Baxter State Park. The kitchen and bathrooms are fully stocked with cookware, dishes, etc. if you want to eat in. ##### Therese M. We only stayed 2 nights but the house had everything you would need for a longer stay. We went White Water Rafting and the location was perfect.
