Summary:  
Welcome to Marbellamar in Calahonda. This distinctive apartment is situated right by the beach with only a 50-meter walk down to the golden sand and a lively chiringuito with live music in the weekends.  
  
The apartment is calm with floor-to-ceiling windows for you to enjoy the sea view. Both bedrooms have comfortable double beds and blackout blinds for a good night sleep. There are two bathrooms, both with a shower and one washing machine. The kitchen is well-equipped with appliances like fridge, freezer, oven, stove, microwave and dishwasher, and there are bar stools around a spacious kitchen counter. There is also an extra sleeping couch in the apartment that fits well for one adult or two children.  
The open solution between the kitchen and the living room makes the apartment light and airy. The living room has a comfortable couch and a recliner right next to the beach view. There is also a wall-mounted TV.  
  
The apartment is a welcoming distraction from the daily chores, as it provides an escape from the city despite being so close to it. The garden has two pools and if you enjoy a morning stroll you have a 7-kilometre-long seafront promenade right outside by the beach.

This picturesque residential area, located between Marbella and Fuengirola, captures the essence of Mediterranean living, making it an ideal destination for those seeking tranquillity without sacrificing access to the vibrant lifestyle of the Spanish coast.  
  
Calahonda boasts beautiful sandy beaches that stretch for miles, inviting residents and visitors to bask in the warm Mediterranean sun. The gentle sound of waves provides a soothing backdrop to daily life, and many properties in the area offer breathtaking sea views. But also the landscape of Calahonda is adorned with lush greenery and well-maintained parks, providing residents with pleasant spaces for leisurely walks, picnics, or simply enjoying the natural beauty that surrounds them.  
  
For golf enthusiasts, Calahonda is a golfer's paradise, with several prestigious golf courses in close proximity. The area's gentle climate allows for year-round golfing, making it an ideal destination for those who love to tee off against the backdrop of the sparkling Mediterranean.  
  
Calahonda offers a diverse culinary scene, with a plethora of restaurants serving both local Spanish cuisine and international flavors. The local amenities cater to daily needs, including supermarkets, shops, and vibrant local markets where you can immerse yourself in the rich tapestry of Spanish culture.  
  
Getting Around:  
Go by car and discover the area of Costa del Sol. Marbella City center is only 14 minutes away by car and Fuengirola 20 minutes away. There is gated parking inside the urbanisation.  
  
The bus stop is at the main road just above the urbanisation. It has frequent departures in the direction of Marbella or Fuengirola. From the Fuengirola bus station, on Calle Jacinto Benavente, you can take buses along the Costa del Sol, west to Algeciras and east to Malaga. There are also other services across Andalucía and daily, but less frequent, services to Cádiz, Coín, Córdoba, Granada, Madrid, Ronda, and Sevilla. You also have a lot of opportunities if you chose to travel from the bus station in Marbella instead.  
  
The Fuengirola station is classified disabled-friendly, it is an underground station and step or elevator are needed to reach platform level. From here you can catch the train to Malaga which takes 48 minutes via Benalmadena, Torremolinos and Malaga Airport. The Cercanias train conveniently connects with the main line trains in Malaga Maria Zambrano station for high-speed trains to Madrid, Cordoba, Sevilla, and other parts of Spain.  
  
If you like to stretch your legs, you have a boardwalk by the seaside stretching all the way from La Cala de Mijas to Calahonda and from Cabopino to Marbella. The boardwalk forms part of the Senda Litoral De Malaga (Malaga coastal path) and if its ever completed will run from Nerja to Manilva and span 163 kilometres. The boardwalk has bars and restaurants along the way as it hugs the coastline.  
  
Uber and Bolt is always easily accessible.
