"The staff was beyond accomodating and caring. After getting food poisoning from a local restaurant, I had a bad night in the room from being sick. I told the front desk abiout what happened and they helped me out tremendiously and took care of the room for me. I can not say how appreciative I am for them understanding and checking in on me the next day. The place was clean and the manager actually goes and washes out the coffee urn between brewings. If I have to back to Mountain Home I will stay here again. Thank you so much!"

Whispering Woods Cabins & Grill

"This was our second time staying with Whispering Woods. The hot water was not working when we arrived and as we had a delayed flight into Little Rock, we did not arrive at our cabin until 1130 pm. There was no way to reach the staff until the next morning after ten AM. My wife was not happy with no hot water to shower with. I got a staff member who asked me if I had tried the trouble shooting list. There was no trouble shooting list in our cabin. She asked me if I could fix the problem, and as we were on the road visiting family, I could not do this. She asked me if I would like her to fix the problem; I said yes and the problem was fixed when we returned to the cabin that evening. My wife complained that the pots in the cabinet were not clean. We had a very nice view of Lake Norfolk from our back patio. The air conditioning worked well."

"It's a very clean place only complaint we have is the wifi is very weak and the tvs aren't smart tvs. But staff is wonderful. And very clean place to stay."

"Just as advertised. A great place for fishing or just plain vegging. It was quiet and felt secluded with the river running silently by and a cliff on the opposite bank. Great views of the river from inside the cabin or as I preferred, from outside on the deck. The cabin was clean and well stocked. The owners were responsive to questions but otherwise left me alone to enjoy my time there. Would love to come back again."

"The Jefferson Cabin on the White River is a beautiful cabin with gorgeous views of the river. It is very quiet and surrounded by nature. The house is very nice and is furnished with everything you need for a home away from home. The beds are all comfortable, too, which is rare for a vacation home. We had a great time fishing and playing in the river from morning til sundown. The porch has a nice swing and plenty of seating for everyone. Having the grill was the cherry on top!"
