We reached in the evening and initially considered eating out but decided to stay in after seeing how well equipped the cottage was with all manner of creature comforts. "What an amazing location. Lovely clean, comfortable room. Nice view from the balcony of the bush and a dam with a platypus in it! You can also see wombats and wallabies walking past. Loved the fake gas fire in the room which kept it very warm. You do have to walk outside from your cabin to breakfast. The buffet breakfast could have more variety. The Highland restaurant was great though. Having no wifi, mobile reception or tv in the rooms gave us a complete break away. "

"The food in restaurant was alittle pricey but I thought worth it. The veggies were crisp and not being a big bread eater, the entree bread was crisp and light, as was the toast in the morning. All food is organic and it absolutely made a taste difference for me. "
