Breakfast was good. Shout out to Bryan (front desk), Hannah and Mattias(?) on food service who all made it very pleasant. Laundry was available and used - great if you are touring. Room in a cabin away from the main building. Good size with free wine and crisps. Bathroom a bit dated. Hotel has an exceptional position and the “Enchanted walk” was great wombats, platypus and wallabies all in action around the hotel. Spacious and comfortable, with a real wood fire and a spa bath. The lodge is lovely. There is a large, inviting reception area with comfortable seating and board games, etc. There are two dining options on site: a fancy restaurant and a casual tavern. We enjoyed the fancy restaurant, and I appreciated that they let my son order from the children’s tavern menu.
