Kudos to Kevin for providing excellent customer service the morning we checked out.
We booked through Expedia and chose a package that included parking at a lower rate of $34 while the hotel charges $49. They still charged us the $49 and we had to spend close to an hour through Expedia trying to figure it out. The young lady at front desk simply told us during check in that she never heard of paying for valet through Expedia and there was nothing she could do.
The hotel is nice, you have to use valet as it’s downtown Charleston and parking in general is scarce.
Room was spacious.
They have a “resort fee” of around $35 as well.
Location is convenient and walkable. We booked a high floor room and it was quiet. Restaurant closes at 9:00 pm which is rather early for Charleston.
