The property is horribly indicated. I was EXTREMELY unsure where the entrance was let alone if i was at the correct place. I also asked if they accept packages for their guests, which they said yes. This was and EXTREMELY important package for me. They denied the package. Hotel and room itself was nice. If you're looking for a great place to stay, I might suggest booking somewhere else if you want to have no problems with accommodations, as the hotel staff gave inconsistent answers and weren't much help.

Very cute little hotel with a bar/restaurant. It’s a small check in space but very cute. Boardwalk like floor! Room was great tiny but just enough. Very clean and sleek. Just perfect. Walgreens on the corner or last minute items. Restaurants shopping and the beach is an easy 10-15 minute walk.

Friendly hotel with quirky rooms. We stayed 1 night on the quiet side of hotel but had no light in room so changed to another room facing Fifth Ave…. BIG mistake as the sound proofing is non existent and we were kept awake all night by speeding vehicles & screeching tyres.

Such a cute hotel! It was a perfect spot close to everything without being in the middle of all the hustle and bustle! Staff were very lovely! The patio room we received was not much of a patio, but it didn’t bother us because we were there to wonder and explore.

Beware if you are visually impaired!
Overall, our stay was very nice but one big thing worth mentioning- the hotel is dark! The lighting in the lobby and main floor is very dim at night. The room we stayed in offered no overhead light in the bedroom area. There is a small overhead light by the door and thankfully the bathroom was well lit. My travel companion has a visual impairment (I do not) and we both found it really difficult to see in the room. It made getting ready, doing makeup, finding items in our suitcases etc. very difficult. On the plus side the hotel was clean and in a good location. The complimentary beach chairs were nice - bring $15 if you’d like to also rent a beach umbrella.

It was fine
Very basic hotel, but good value for SoBe, in a great location. Rooms minimalistic. We had booked a junior room but by looking at the photos on this site, it looks like we may have been given a mini room. Bed was small. Bathroom was tiny. Fine for 2 nights, wouldn’t stay longer. Staff were very nice. Ordered a transfer for us to port, stated on their website it was $40 but was actually $48 plus tip.

There is no closet space to put your stuff, just the hangers. Extremely inconvenient to go through bags to find clothes. And both rooms I was in had rocking toilet bowls, faucets and wall lights. Just everything was rocking. Never seen anything like that

Nice hotel friendly knowledgeable staff,nice pool area,good italian style restaurant in the evening(one downside no morning breakfast facilities but coffee shop and other facilities close at hand) Well situated just off lower end of mid beach area,5minute walk to beach,try Mamas Tacos and Burghermeister both on Washington Avenue. Hop on hopoff bus ,local trolley services on corner of Washington and 5th,also 150 Airport transfer bus twice an hour only $2.25 pp,as against $50for taxi

Hidden Gem
Urbanica is a gem off the beaten path of mainstream of South Beach. Everything is in walking distance. The rooftop is private and relaxing. Great restaurants and bars are in close proximity. I highly recommend it and can’t wait to visit again.
