Though the unit is older, it was clean and nice. The ac workes great, there was pay laundry on site. Perfect for our family of 4\. The kitchen was nice to have as we didnt need to eat out every meal. The only reasons for not giving all 5 stars was the front desk was much nicer to the actual hotel guests than the vrbo guests and the fact that we couldn't sleep in due to construction on the building next door. ##### Tiffany D. Old, dirty, out dated. They are doing construction at hotel and next door. So lots of noise. Never stayed at a hotel apartment before, probably never will again. I usually rent a home for a stay. Parking is expensive and the area itself along Collins Ave is dirty. The owner Joe was fantastic with communication and very helpful in times of need. There was plenty of space, lots of storage/luggage racks, seating, etc. The view was fantastic. The property was right on the boardwalk, which we loved. We didn't use the pool or other facilities, because we were out during the days, but it was pleasant to walk past the pool areas to get to the beach for morning/evening runs. Check in/out was super easy. The valet parking was a bit pricey but very efficient. I emailed the hosts a couple times ahead of our stay and their communication was super fast and helpful. I recall some reviews of this unit that note issues with cleanliness/updates. We found the unit very clean and well-equipped. Sure, there's a popcorn ceiling and older fixtures in the bathroom, but those did not affect our enjoyment of the weekend! If we're back in Miami/Miami Beach, we would stay here again. ##### Traci B. The building amenities were also great, nice and clean pool area, beautiful beach. The food/drinks at the bar are pricy, and they won’t allow bringing your own food to the pool, but that was fine. The location could have been better, not much to do in the area, the closest supermarket is about 10 minutes away, we had to Uber there, also around 10-15 minutes to the South Beach area where all the action is. But for the price of the apartment it was worth it, you can’t find anything cheaper than this further south. Overall we really enjoyed our little vacation and would love to come back! ##### Irene B. The apartment looks exactly as is presented in the photos. The pool area is also very nice. The owner was helpful and responded promptly to our inquires. The free trolley on Collins street was convenient and useful with a stop right in front of the hotel (it runs every half hour weekdays and every hour weekends until 11 pm). The only reason I am giving it 4 stars not 5 is because there were not enough towels (you can do laundry but that was not on my list of things to do on vacation or pay $35 for extra towels) We also ran out of toilet paper by the end of the stay. We did not rent a car and there is no store in walking distance either. Bring extra toilet paper. ##### Anca S.
