Property is falsely listed to accommodate five guests
Firstly, the unit is in a great location, good layout, and is nicely decorated.
It is advertised as to accommodate 5 guests, which it is not. Only bedding for 4 (two double beds) is provided. When I notified the property manager (via VRBO chat upon check-in) that I was missing bedding, I was told that I had to provide advance notice and make a special request. It was my fault. This is not the case. I registered as five guests upon booking. Moreover, I had indicated our family size in my initial communication.
The extra bedding was dropped off after midnight and we were only booked for one night. The manager (with a Chicago phone number) advised me that there was traffic in Miami which is why it took over 6 hours to receive the bedding. We had not experienced traffic issues in Miami that day.
There was no dish soap provided, making it hard for us to maintain our end of the checkout responsibilities. There were very few dishes, glasses or cutlery. I do not expect a fully equipped kitchen, but do expect the basics.
Great location, nice unit. But lower your expectations if you opt to stay at this property. Expect excuses and a rude reply if you have an issue.
