TV didn’t work and room was outdated

The hotel is under renovation. Broken elevator etc. No safes in the room. Staff was inept with any information not even simple directions. We ended up making a an hour walk to the JMA Dome based on staff directions, only to find out after the event it was a straight shot 10 minute walk. No vending for necessities. On our departure day. We asked directions to a store for aspirin. Again gave us wrong directions. They do not know their right from left. Upon checkin they could not confirm my credit card on file that I used to book the room luckily I had another on me. As far as the room. It was not ready at check in. We had to find something to do while it was cleaned. However the next morning the cleaning staff was knocking at our door at 10am. Check out is at noon. It was awkward as we rushed to get dressed. And tried to get an explanation as why so early? The cleaning staff does not speak English At that point we had enough and proceeded to check out 2 hours early. Signs assure guests that even though the property is under renovation, we'll have a good night sleep. Impossible with the noisiest a/c I've ever heard. It took us at least a half hour trying to locate staff to check out because no one was at the front desk. Lo and behold they were able to process my payment on my original card. Staff offered no apologies, no discounts for the inconveniences. Only complained they're short staffed. Nice park across the street and good location as long as you have correct directions

Checkin wss very easy and the staff was nice. The pool was not available which was disappointing.
