Liked: Staff & service
The room was good enough and spacious but the outside noise bled into the room too clearly. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. We did not have time to visit the pool, try the rooftop restaurant or have breakfast but it appeared to be lovely.
Such a unique hotel based in the center of CDMX and close to Zocala. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The front desk staff were always so helpful attending to all our needs. Thank you Kevin and team.
The property is beautiful and so are the staff. Very friendly and knowledgeable about where to go. They also are very good at English even though my mom is fluent in Spanish. I will definitely return. The restaurant in the hotel is Excellent!
I recommend this hotel for its great great LOCATION!!! Right in the historical district alao the staff the boys in the front and lobby are all so very nice and helpful. The rooms are clean beds are comfy. Water pressure is great and veryyyy hot water. Overall 5 stars will definitely be back.
We loved the look and feel of the building and the location proximity to the Zocalo was perfect. We were there during a very busy time and it felt safe always. Love that there are two restaurant options, food is very fresh and delicious. The rooms are awesome, beds comfortable. Only suggestion would be to add a dresser in the room with the bed to have more places to put clothing or things on a top surface as there is not much closet room or counterspace in bathroom or bedroom. Water pressure in bathroom was incredibly good as well as hot and cold water. They had complimentary bottled water which important in CDMX. Also super easy to catch an Uber on that street. Will be back!
Lovely hotel. Great location, very central. Feels clean and spacious.
Staff incredibly friendly.
Nice, warm pool.
Gym ok but small.
Three venues attached to hotel:
Nardo cocktail bar - class. The main mixologist is talented.
Tim Horton’s - poor and slow.
Ojo de Agua - amazing for breakfast.
Would recommend this hotel 100%
We had a 6 day stay it was a great hotel; safe, smelled beautifully, super clean, and amazing staff !
From the moment you arrive you’re greeted with great hospitality and staff eager to assist.
Housekeeping is trustworthy and always on point .
Food is delicious both up and down stairs ! It does take a while but we didn’t mind since it was always fresh with that being said plan about 30 minutes ahead when ordering room service (upstairs) portions are more than generous.
I would recommend to upgrade your rooms for a better experience and more sunlight since the bottom floors are more low-lit nighttime type of ambiance, similar to lobby.
The hotel is in the middle of everything ! The location is excellent (walkable)
All was great, customer service, installations, super clean, great location. We really enjoyed our stay we will definitally comeback.
Just wish the jacuzzy and swimming pool were open till later currently is until 8 pm
Thank you!!!!!
First time coming to Mexico City and the hotel was amazing ! From the staff to the hotel ambience it was a beautiful stay . Rooftop pool and bar was easily accessible with great view of the city . Sergio was amazing ( ask for the carajillo ) it’s my favorite drink he makes . Will definitely be coming back to this hotel for my next stay . Mexico City has my heart now forever .
Our stay at the Umbral was excellent. The staff were friendly, professional, and attentive throughout our visit. The amenities were top-tier, and the restaurant attached to the hotel was outstanding and very convenient.
The only minor criticism would be the scent used in the main lobby. It was a pleasant fragrance, but a bit overpowering at times. That said, it certainly wasn’t enough to affect our overall experience or rating.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily return.
