The cleanliness was not good. Broken things and dirt/things from previous guests were still in room. Walls and floors were broken and we couldn’t lock the windows. Beds were old and uncomfortable, limited space in the room, key cards constantly malfunctioned, rest/public areas were closed. Service in the “restaurant” was terrible. Concierge didn’t speak English for foreign guests. Not to mention cockroaches. Biggest issue was that they had cancelled our room because we had not paid beforehand. I booked through Expedia with the option to pay at hotel. If this is not allowed or it is an issue then that option should not be offered! The front desk was very polite, but we were only guaranteed a room until Thursday even though we had booked until Friday. We also had to switch rooms midweek to get the room we had asked for. It was a bit inconvenient. We ended up getting a room in a hotel near the airport for the last day. Housekeeping came in and cleaned everyday, and the rooms were okay. No AC though, so it was stuffy in there, and the fan only turned on at the fastest setting. It was loud and sounded like it was going to fly off the ceiling. Walls are very thin as well.
