The complimentary breakfast was very tasty and filling. All the staff are so friendly which really makes a stay a nice one. I really liked the variety of zones to sit in outside the bedrooms and my room offered plenty of space, it was clean and the area is quiet to sleep in at night. My husband and I loved our stay. It’s very walkable, the staff is extremely helpful. Vaina and Mauricio helped navigate us especially during the busy Día de los Muertos days. Excellent location, walking distance to the center of town, with ready access to shops, restaurants and cafes. Staying in January, expect the room temperature to be cool. Heat is provided by a wall mounted gas heater in the room, available from the evening until midnight, so the room is a bit chilly when you wake up in the morning. When I checked in, I was informed that only cash or bank transfer (Mexican bank) were accepted, because the credit card machine was unserviceable. Fortunately I had sufficient cash on hand, but other guests may not, depending upon length of stay.
