"Buddy at the desk was great, I forgot my key in my room and he gave me another to get freed up. Restaurant a short walk along the road, or a gas station across the street. The room was honestly a lot nicer than I expected. Didn’t have LOW expectations but was pleasantly surprised "

"This area, Bluff, Utah, has basically nothing in it. The Desert Rose was our best option. That being said, the people working at the hotel and at Duke's Restaurant, are fabulous. They couldn't be nicer. BUT, the rooms are very dated, although freshly painted, and if you are on the bottom level, you will hear every step, every movement, every door, etc. We also had construction workers above us who decided to party until close to 1:30 a.m. on a Tuesday night. I called the front desk at 11:30 wanting to ask them to address this. No one was on the premises, which I believe is just bad business, and a liability. At 12:50 I finally went up to ask that they please go to bed, but they were too scared to even open the door. This is not something patrons should have to do. We pay to have a safe and quiet place to spend the night. We should not have to risk our safety to deal with inconsiderate guests. And construction/highway workers are in an area for a long duration, so I would assume this was not the first incident of this kind from them. Anyway, I would NOT recommend this property as a place to stay mainly from a safety aspect or for a quiet nights sleep."

"Pet friendly and plenty of dog walking down to the river. We stayed one night; the cottage was neat, the kitchen was functional. The bathroom was a good size and seemed accessible if needed. Fresh coffee was awesome! Would stay here again."
