However, I had a hard time getting into the apartment since the wrong code was sent to me. It took longer than I felt comfortable with, waiting for them to respond to my text letting them know. In fairness, it was only 12 minutes but the area didn't feel safe to me and I was feeling uncomfortable. Once in the apartment, all was fine and I had no issues during my stay. As a single female, I would not stay here again. The neighborhood is "up and coming" but this street still seems like it has a ways to go. The parking (I was unable to get parking in the front so I had to park behind the building) is a long way from the door and I ended up planning my weekend around being able to come and go when there was light outside. ##### Elizabeth B. We were a little concerned with parking (parking decals can assist with determining who should be parked in the rear). The studio unit was very clean, cozy, and homely. We utilized the kitchen to cook breakfast each morning, very nice. The bed was comfortable, but the mattress has some wear as it did sink into the platform bed some. Everything was clean, bright and modern in this newly redecorated studio tucked away in a vintage Memphis apartment house. The apartment house was ideally located about a mile from the Overton Square District, with plenty of restaurants, clubs and grocery stores within easy walking distance.
