After downloading the app, you can hop on for a minimal fee—plus, it’s a fun way to get around! You’ll also find public bikes called Explore scattered throughout Midtown, with several racks conveniently located off Madison Ave. These are available for a small fee if you prefer cycling. From the airport, Uber or Lyft is the simplest option. If you have a rental car, finding the property is easy with Google Maps or GPS. ➤ Second-floor unit in an 8-apartment building ➤ The building is 110+ years old, so sound carries easily, and you may sometimes hear footsteps from the apartments above so please be mindful especially during Quiet hours (10 PM - 8 AM) ➤ Free shared laundry is in the basement (not in the unit) ➤ Shared porch upstairs, open for guest use ➤ Safety: When the heater is on, please be mindful of the floor grate, as it can get hot. Cancellation Policy for Direct Booking Long-Term Reservations (30 days or more): ● For reservations of 30 days or longer, a separate cancellation policy applies: ● Guests will receive a full refund if they cancel at least 30 days before the scheduled check-in date. ● A 50% refund will be issued for cancellations made between 14 and 29 days prior to the scheduled check-in date. ● No refund will be provided for cancellations made 13 days or fewer before the scheduled check-in date. 2\. NO SMOKING or use of fire permitted in the rental; guest acknowledges that no \`smoking\` includes the use of vape pens and marijuana and \`use of fire\` includes the lighting of candles, incense, or sage. There will be a $200 charge per day of reservation if this rule is not followed 10\. There cannot be more than the allowed number of guests in or on the property at any time. Violation may result in immediate removal of all guests without refund. Unauthorized guests exceeding the maximum occupancy will be charged $50 per night, per extra guest. 11\. Late check-out fee of $50 (if not authorized) applies for check-outs after 11:00 am. We\`re sorry we have to charge this but we pay our housekeepers based on the agreed-upon checkout time and if they are unable to clean we still have to pay them 12\. We will place a small deposit hold on your credit card two days before your arrival to cover any accidental property damage that may occur and it will be released after your check out. If we fail to capture your security deposit, your reservation will automatically be cancelled 13\. We would like to inform you that for direct bookings, a 4% credit card fee will be applied to any cancellations and refunds and we will follow the platform\`s cancellation policy 14\. Guests who make reservations for over 30 days must sign our standard lease agreement and agree to a background check before check-in (it will be provided before check-in) 15\. As part of our commitment to maintaining a clean and comfortable environment for all guests, we require a midterm cleaning for reservations lasting 30 days or longer. The midterm cleaning will take place on the 15th day of your reservation. This cleaning is mandatory and is designed to ensure the continued cleanliness and hygiene of the property 16\. The cleaning fee for the mandatory mid-stay clean will be deducted from your security deposit 17\. Excessively dirty units will incur an additional cleaning fee and will be evidenced with photos 18\.
