Great rooms and hotel even better dinning :-)
this is a great place as a base for touring the town, room are cozy, staff is great. This place has great dining options ..highly recommended kitchen .. parking is available but was a little challenging .. some acceptability issues (we did not have a problem with them) and on our stay some contraction was on the way (the reason for the light reduction on the condition) .. we highly recommend this hotel

Our best meals in Germany!
Small hotel in a beautiful town. Friendly helpful staff and variety of rooms. Recommend the balcony room over the garden. The breakfasts (included) were a wonderful start to each day. The dinners were EXCEPTIONAL, to say the least! Our compliments to the chef. Spend the day exploring Meissen but be sure to return and have your dinner at Goldenes Fass. You will not be disappointed. Thank you for a very memorable stay!

Lovely Hotel in an Outstanding Town
We really enjoyed our stay here. It was very easy to walk to the downtown area and the historic sites. The room we had was large and had everything we wanted except a bath tub. But the bathroom was large and had great lighting. Breakfast was included and was plentiful. We ate in the restaurant twice and it was very good - no complaints. The pumpkin soup was awesome.

Best hotel for visiting beautiful Meissen. Close proximity to old town and all hiostorical monuments. Fantastic restaurant serving organic food. Organic here just means superb quality. Very accommodating and friendly staff. Nice large and clean rooms with increadibly comfortable beds. We would go back there anytime.

in tolles Hotel mit urgemütlichem Charme
Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Das Hotel selbst ist ein Kleinod, ein urig gemütlicher, begrünter Innenhof, die Zimmer mit viel Liebe eingerichtet, die Speisen mit Pfiff und auch fürs Auge zubereitet und geschmacklich hervorragend. Ein rundum gelungener Aufenthalt, der den Wunsch nach weiteren Tagen im Hotel weckt... Die Dachgeschoss-Zimmer sind etwas hellhörig, aber das nimmt man bei dem stimmigen Gesamtpaket gern in Kauf. Die Sauna habe ich leider gar nicht geschafft, sie könnte vielleicht abends etwas länger geöffnet haben.

Schönes uriges Hotel!
Kleines aber feines Hotel nicht weit von der Altstadt entfernt. Die individuell gestateten Zimmer verteilen sich über mehrere kleinere Gebäude. Der ganze Hotelkomplex macht einen gepflegten und rustikalen Eindruck. Frühstück ist ausreichend und qualitativ hochwertig. WLAN sowie Kaffee, tee und Wasser auch dem Zimmer sind kostenlos verfügbar. Sehr nettes Personal! Sehr gerne wieder!

Sehr freundliches Personal. Sehr schönes geräumiges Comfort Zimmer. Frühstück sehr gut. Minuspunkt wegen vergessener Zahnbürste -2.50 EUR für ein sonst übliches kostenloses Hotelset. Trotzdem sehr empfehlenswert.

Wcellent family hotel for romantic/family weekend
Extraordinary service and client oriented staff. Close (10 min walk) to city centre and good parking facilities on site.Very good breakfast. Special treatment of children (possible to order something simple to eat for kids outside normal menu, own cutlery etc.).

Sehr schönes, gemütliches Hotel
Wunderbar gemütliches Hotel mit sehr viel Charme. Sehr liebenswürdiges, zuvorkommendes Personal. Zimmereinrichtung und Bad sehr charmant. Leider keine Klimanlage, daher ist bei hochsommerlichen Temperaturen ein Schlafen kam möglich. Gute Altstadtnähe kaum 10 Minuten zu Fuß. Sehr leckere, gehobene Gastronomie Haus. Das Frühstück eine Sensation und läßt keinen Wunsch übrig!!

下に書かれているのとは違い、駅から歩いて行けますが、地図を見ないと分かりにくいです。部屋は母屋から独立してる建物にありますが、きれいです。それと、朝食はとてもよかったです。

Sehr individuell. Mit vielen "kleinen Aufmerksamkeiten". Super Frühstück! Das einzige und leicht verdauliche Manko: mäßiger Parkplatz, der auch leicht zugeparkt werden kann (zumindest für größere Autos dann nur schwer zu verlassen.

ein Hotel der besonderen Art
Wie viele andere Hotels ist dieses sauber, gut ausgestattet und hat ein freundliches Team. Der Unterschied machen die vielen kleinen Aufmerksamkeiten die man im Zimmer vorfindet: Äpfel, Spielereien um das Kind in sich wiederzuentdecken, ein alter Karl May Schmöcker etc. p.p. Es gibt die Möglichkeit sich ein passendes Kopfkissen auszusuchen, man kann Zutaten für ein Wellness-Romantik Abend in der Badewanne oder hausgemachte Marmeladen erwerben, etc. Das Hotel hat einen kleinen gemütlichen Innenhof und ein Restaurant, daß ich leider nicht ausprobieren konnte. Die Meißener Altstadt und der Bahnhof sind gut in 10 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Gerne wieder.

車があれば長逗留お勧め
マイセンの住宅地の中にあり、辿りつくには車が必要。ホテルは昔のレストランや住宅を組み合わせたもので情緒ある。部屋は広いLDに寝室、キッチン、バスがそれぞれ別にあり、アパートの一軒のよう。炊事用具はなく料理は出来ない様だったが、契約次第では料理可の可能性もあろう。付属レストランはなかなか良いもので夕食も食べたが非常においしかった。勿論朝食も質の高いもの。2階建てだがEVはないので、重いスーツケースは要注意。

schöne Unterkunft, der alte Stil vom Haus gelassen, aber guten Komfort. Selbstgemachte Marmelade und insgesamt reichhltiges Frühstück. Nachts sehr ruhig, freundliche Angestellte. einfach zum wohlfühlen.

Hotellet og byen var gåturen verdt.
Pent hotell med gode rom og lett parkering i innelukket gård.Det ble servert deilig mat i restauranten med mange gode lokale vilt -og fiskeretter. Hotellet, som virket nyrenovert, ligger i et rolig område av byen, nesten uten biltrafikk, men vi forsto av hotellbeskrivelsen på nettet at hotellet lå nær porselensfabrikken og byens øvrige severdigheter. Det var ikke tilfellet. Hotellet lå på "feil" side av Elben og det var et stykke å gå!!!

Das Goldene Fass ist ein romantischer Geheimtipp
Sehr freundlicher Service, überraschend edel ausgestattete Zimmer und eine wunderbare, regionale Küche. Zwischen Weinlaub, im Kerzenschein genießt man hier abends regionale Köstlichkeiten mit sehr zuvorkommendem Service. Wir kommen gern wieder!
