This apartment in the San Joaquin neighborhood was adequate for 2 people, was located close to restaurants and dance clubs (we were there to tango; 3 weekly milonga sites within a few blocks!), but far enough from the hectic Carrera 70 to be an easy place to pick up an Uber ride (average fare about US $3 - 4 around town). There are also numerous grocery stores within a few blocks. It came with kitchen supplies, but had limited counter space if you actually want to cook. Also, there is no a/c but with windows open, the fan supplied was usually sufficient (May). The staff were really kind and helpful; the doorman is available at all hours nightly and even helped with luggage for our 4am trip to the airport for an early flight. The neighborhood feels safe but can be hectic and a bit noisy, whether from loud music on weekend nights, church bells on Sunday morning, or the daily song of the fruit vendor pushing his cart (Aguacate!). Overall, a good experience and great value for the cost.
