« Très décevant comme séjour. L'insonorisation est POURRIE (style feuille de carton) et les deux nuits nous sommes en plus tombé sur des fêtards qui profitent du fait qu'il n'y a pas d'employé la nuit pour se promener partout dans le lobby et corridor en faisant claquer les portes. Le matelas serait dû pour être changé, on ressentait tous les ressorts.. Bref, le seul point positif est le magnifique paysage entourant le lodge et le très bon petit-déjeuner (par contre on doit payer, non inclus). »

« Very cosy and homely. Clean and very spacious. Pool, hot tub and sauna were clean. Food was amazing and fresh. Close to 2 town centres. Staff were very helpful and went out of there way Pet friendly hotel. Staff went out there way for my dog buster. Offered him sausages and treats. Buster was made up. Defiantly will be back x Only 2 little mini things was couldn't work out the shower and no instructions about how to work the hot tub. Only that there was someone in the pool telling us how to...

« We have stayed at The Powfoot Hotel as a stopover on the way to our final destination in Scotland. It is an absolute gem. Of course there are newer and plusher hotels but this place takes some beating for its idyllic location, courteous and professional service, cleanliness, comfort and good value restaurant.
