Great little getaway!
Very cute and comfy house with nice deck and hot tub. Lake is beautiful but house is a bit set back from lake. Not too far but not right on lake as I was expecting. Still a great place and great communication!

Great Lake House
Super clean house! Great communication with owner. The house is roomy and very well appointed. The hot tub was very nice. Plenty of wood for indoor stove and fire pit. We look forward to going back.

Lovely location
This house is wonderfully located on the shore of Deep Creek Lake with a pier and an easily accessible beach. Great place to launch a small boat (which we did) and a great view. The cleanliness and readiness for guest was impeccable. I would recommend this to anyone, and we'll likely come back in the future.

Clean and well maintained adorable lake house. The beds and pillows were very comfortable and the kitchen was well appointed. The owners are very friendly and helpful. Also much appreciated was the short, common sense checkout list- no endless list chores.

Winter weekend
My family of 8 consisted of a Grandmother, 3 adults, 1 teenager, and 3 kids. This house was perfectly located on the lake, close to Wisp for tubing and snowboarding/skiing, had a hot tub, was pet friendly, and super clean!! Perfect amount of room for all of us. I asked the owner about sledding hills and he got right back to me about the sleds they had there for us and additional hills around the area. I really didn’t need to reach out for any other questions because the directions for everything I needed to know was emailed to me and/or labeled in the house. We love to take our dogs with us places but also appreciate a clean house. This place was very clean. The kids had plenty of entertainment from back yard sledding to board games and even a video game that we ended up not even needing. The wood stove was so cozy and we had every cooking tool that we needed while there also. We will definitely be returning!!

Our stay was phenomenal. The house came with everything we needed for the duration our stay and more. The house felt super cozy and slept my group and myself more than comfortably. Also, the view of the lake in the backyard is a beautiful sight to see during the day. However I will mention that the roads are pretty scary especially at night so I’d advised to drive carefully. Overall, 10/10 experience and I would highly recommend this property for your next stay.

Great Thanksgiving getaway

Just What the Dr Ordered!
I’ve stayed in many places in Deep Creek and this is by far the best one! It was the cleanest rental house that I’ve ever been in (and I’m a freak about that lol). The kitchen had more small appliances, etc than my own at home! The walk down to the water was so nice and I loved that it was so shallow, our dog loved that part too. It was so peaceful. The house was laid out so nice with the deck, sunporch, the master bedroom with attached bath, laundry room, etc. we utilized it all! Our dog had the time of his life too lol, and we really appreciate that it was dog friendly because that is extremely hard to find. Especially as nice as this one. I already recommended this home to all of my family members! We all had a blast and we really appreciate that you’re willing to share your home! We hope to be back soon. Thanks again.

This house was perfect for our family and our poodles. It was exactly what we were looking for. Awesome, quiet location. Love the wooded area with the fire pit, the deck, hot tub...Having a dock was amazing. We rented a boat for the week and it was so great to just go down to the water every day and hop on the boat. Communication with Matt was great. House was one of the most clean rentals I've ever been in. Can't say enough and can't wait to go back next year!

Perfect Lake Front Home
This home is perfect! You can tell that the owners truly care about their lake home and that they want you to enjoy it. The welcome email was detailed with everything you need to know about the home and the general area. The home is clean, cozy and very comfortable. This is truly a pet friendly home – there was a crate, food and water bowls and even an extra leash. We came here with our two Labrador Retrievers, and they had the time of their life! The kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals. There are plenty of dishes, silverware, cooking utensils, etc. I didn’t expect to need to use the washer and dryer but with the dogs swimming multiple times a day, it made it easy to keep their towels clean and dry. We enjoyed using the grill and eating on the deck. The hot tub was perfect. I loved the backyard and sitting on the swing in the mornings drinking my morning coffee while my pups went on sniffing adventures and tried to catch the resident ground hog. The provided firewood for the fire pit was a nice bonus and we enjoyed hanging out around the fire at night. The path to the lake was an easy walk and the sandy beach area was perfect! This was the highlight for the dogs – swimming for hours. Bringing a pontoon boat to the dock was very easy. We were even lucky enough to see a momma bear and cubs come past the front of the house and then watched them travel up through back along the water to the woods. Deer in the yard was a common sight as well. Do not hesitate to book this home. I am looking forward to renting this home again.

New fans of the cove.
My entire family including our dogs had an excellent time. The house had plenty of space and multiple cozy locations to hang out, read and play games. The kitchen had everything we needed which was good because we cooked-in most meals. We loved the yard and view and had fires in the pit every night. The cove and beach were great, we brought some inflatable paddle boards and the kids used them as a floating island for hours of fun. My dogs learned to swim, and who knew my 90 pound doodle would be a natural on the paddle board. Most Deep Creek attractions are about a 15 minute drive, but its scenic and pretty easy to get around. We’re looking forward to a repeat trip.

A gem!
Absolutely loved this property! The house was clean and had everything you need for a comfortable stay. The dock and little beach area felt very private. There is a nice shallow area that was perfect for my son to play in. We'll be back!

June weekend trip
We had 3 couples with total of 3 children age 6 and under stay. We stayed 3 nights 4 days. House was very clean (especially for being pet friendly). Second bathroom was small but did fine for 2 couples / 3 children to share. Location on lake was great and close to house. Small beach area was excellent for kids. Hot tub, Wii, Keurig were all nice secondary amenities. Would definitely stay again!

Great Place for Families!
We just came back from a wonderful stay at Lakeview Escape! The place was very clean upon arrival, the kitchen was well stocked and there were so many extras. The blue shed had fun for everyone in it! They definitely thought of everyone and everything! The entry to the lake on what we called the beach area was beautiful and our dog loved it! We even caught some fish right off the dock! Matt, the owner, was awesome and was quick to respond with any questions we had…such as some hot fishing spots. Great place, we will be back!!!

Lake View Escape is the place to be!
WOW what an amazing experience. The owners could do a TED Talk on how to host! The location, home and amenities were amazing but we really loved the little touches that made it so much homier. Stay here!!

May Getaway
My family enjoyed our stay at Lakeview Escape. The owners have thought of everything a guest could need - polar water dispenser, electronics charger station, spices, children's toys and gear, hot tub and the list goes on...the weather cooperated also. The owners were very responsive to any questions, prior to our trip and made certain we had everything we needed upon our arrival. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this property for anyone seeking a relaxing nature-filled vacation.

Rest, trails and comfort at Deep Creek
The house is everything a VRBO is supposed to be. Hosts had every kitchen basic on hand -spices, tools, coffee makers, lots of fire wood! The house had lots of entertainment options, streaming TVs, board games and a pristine hot tub. Our dog loved splashing at the beach. We enjoyed hikes at Swallow Falls and Herrington Manor (each a short drive). Mountain State Brewing and local grocery were close by as well.

Overall nice stay
Living room furniture needs to be replaced very uncomfortable. Beds were great. Trouble with locks on back door. Probably due to house shifting but we’re hard to bolt. Nice TVs and good streaming services.

Lovely weekend
We had a great time at this property. The email with check in instructions and information went to my junk email. When I called the owner because I didn’t know how to check in he answered right away and was very kind and helpful. The house was very clean and smelled fresh when we got there. The house was bigger inside then it seemed it would be. There was a bit of a snow storm while we were there. So we didn’t leave other than to get food. Everything we needed was there. The hot tub with the lake view was the perfect addition for the snowy weekend. We spent the majority of the weekend relaxing in front of the wood burner watching movies and playing games. It was a great weekend. I would definitely stay here again and will be recommending it!

Great getaway!!
We had a wonderful stay. It was close to Whisp and gave you everything promised plus a few extra touches to make the stay feel comfortable. I stayed with my wife, 2 tween children and our dog. We had a great time on the property, in the hottub, in the house and great proximity to the slopes. I would definately stay there again. Matt was also VERY responsive and pleasant to work with.

Great place for families
We had a wonderful time! This is an adorable cabin, perfect for our two families. Water was low in the winter (to be expected) but the kids (and the adult children 🤣) enjoyed walking out on the ice! The space was cozy, all needed items were available in the kitchen. The toy closet in the bunk bed room was an unexpected bonus! Matt was extremely responsive and left no question unanswered. Word to the wise….it is very windy and rural the last 10 minutes. 4WD may not be necessary but it was a comfort in the snow. If you want to be super close to the “main drag”, this is not for you. Not too far away but not super close. The beach area is amazing for kids because of the sandy entrance. The climbing structure was a hit! Thank you for a great little getaway and welcoming us into your home 🥰

Another perfect pandemic weekend away
This is our second Christmas going at DCL due to the pandemic. Just our immediate family has spent these times together and we couldn’t have asked for a better place to relax. This sweet little rancher is just a few minutes away from Fork Run Recreational Area, the maze trail and Swallow Falls. We did lots of hiking and enjoyed the hot tub when we returned. The hot tub was a great size and looked new - def maintained well. The beds were super comfy and house was roomy enough for the 5 of us. Lastly, the owner was very communicative and the house clean and maintained overall. We appreciated our little escape to DCL.
