The property was awful but the staff were very friendly and helpful. I will have to travel to Brookhaven a lot these next two years and I WILL NEVER stay at Motel 6 again! Dirty, smelled of smoke and weed, trash left on room, floors were nasty.

Alan was wonderful when we checked in. The lobby is very clean and welcoming. Alan has quite the green thumb and the plants are healthy and gorgeous. Our room was clean. The bed was comfortable. The room reeked of cigarette smoke. We carry Ozium air freshener in our car and used it to try to subdue the smoke smell. Yes, we asked for non-smoking and Alan reiterated that at check-in. When we were packing to leave the next morning, the man in the room next to us had the door open and was sitting on the bed smoking. A non-smoking staff member should be inspecting rooms for the smell. The linens and towels smelled like cigarette smoke. We carried it with us when we left.
