"This was my second time staying at this hotel. It is very convenient to UAB and had a pretty good rate. Room and property were clean. Pool was in pretty good shape. Negatives were that parking is an extra $25 and the hotel was full. When we returned from my daughter’s dorm, there was no place to park. Luckily, one of the front desk ladies was leaving and saw me driving around looking for parking. We needed handicapped parking because my son is in a wheelchair. She had been in one of the spots and flagged me down and said she would go block the spot for me so I could park. If she hadn’t seen me we would have had to find street parking even though we paid for on site parking. The other negative was that the pool lift didn’t work, which we are used to. I haven’t been to a hotel in years that actually has a working pool lift. We didn’t do breakfast so can’t comment on that. I would definitely stay there again and I wish I knew the lady’s name Who helped us with the parking so I could give her a shout out. Thanks."
