The beds are comfy and the rooms are spacious. That's the positive. Now for the rest. I expect some level of bugs at hotels. I did not expect cockroaches to be so comfortable coming out with the lights on. The bathtub and sink didn't drain well. The room was barely cleaned before we arrived - the hair in the bathtub and the hair accessories we didn't own were clues - but then wasn't cleaned during our stay. I had to request fresh towels at the front desk. The halls and lobby smell strongly of cigarettes in spite of the no smoking signs posted. I do not have high expectations of cheap hotels. The bar was on the ground and they did not clear it.

Nice comfortable bed. Heat was on when we got to the room. That was awesome. The water was hot. Room was clean. Very quiet. Not much of a breakfast.

After seeing the property and the smell of must and seeing mold we cancelled our reservation. The outside might be updated if that is what you call but nothing else is. We cancelled our reservation and stayed at the Hamption Inn in Mayesville, Ky and it was wonderful! We actually stayed a total of 8 nights there and paid more per night but it was well worth it and can't say enough good things about the Hampton. I would not recoomend the Super 8 for anyone.

As soon as I walked into the property all you could smell was weed. Not sure if it cbd smell or what but it was very strong. I know most people smoke it and that’s fine and all but the entryway of the property as soon as we had walked ???? The lady at the desk was very nice and did help us in anyway we had asked , which wasn’t much. Other that that I have no complaints at all.

It wasn’t clean and stunk really bad like mold! Didn’t even stay! Looked at it and the room and told the lady I was canceling reservations! Tried to get ahold of Expedia for a refund and they won’t answer me and charged my account 74.00 for canceling!! Very unhappy and dissatisfied and would not recommend unless u want to get sick from mold!

Room smelled musty mold and cigarettes. The tv was broken, there were cigarette burns on the remote! It just felt damp and uncomfortable. They are working on the hotel, hope that works out good…but hopefully you don’t want to wake up at 6am on the weekend with construction noise upstairs. Lots of people complained about roaches, I didn’t see any so they have that going for them.

For a smoke free facility the furst thing that smacks you in the face when you walk in the lobby is the strong smoke smell. It was slightly less in the room but still there. A little unorganized. I checked in, went to my room sat down on the bed and seen a roach crawl up the wall to the ceiling. Immediately grabbed my son and my belongings and went straight to the front desk. Requested a refund didn’t get one. Was told to contact Expedia for my refund and that the desk clerk would accept the call from Expedia and accept the refund changes for me. Several days later still no refund and Expedia has not been able to contact the desk clerk. The only way I could reach anyone was via expedias virtual chat. Very upset by the conditions of the room and even more upset that I wasted $70 on a room that had roaches crawling on the ceilings/ walls. I also have video evidence of said roach/ roaches.
