Mauerbach Charterhouse Tours and Activities

This was an excellent place to stay. We got a full-size apartment with kitchen, full bathroom, queen size bed, living room area, and a large open space. Very comfortable. Very quiet. Good elevator. Safe in room and front desk offers safe. Honored special requests. Very nice front desk people. We’re very pleased. Also, this is within walking distance of lots of interesting parts of the Inner Stadt.

Lovely, helpful staff. Room was very clean with a complimentary fridge restocked daily, plus a welcome bottle of wine. Delicious breakfast. Great air conditioning, very much appreciated in this heat.

Hotel Motto is an incredible boutique hotel, and the spot you’re looking for if you’re an independent traveler that wants a beautiful home base. It’s a little further from most tourist sights but conveniently next to a metro train station. The Michelin Bib Gourmand rated restaurant and roof top bar were tasty and their cafe a perfect breakfast spot. While I wouldn’t consider this a “luxurious hotel”, it’s certainly one of the trendiest boutique hotels I’ve stayed in and I would certainly stay again.
