"I would give the service at this place 10 stars out of 5 if I could! We arrived at some random bus stop in the bottom of town because their main station is closed for remodeling, so I didn't really know where we were when I called the shuttle. Nino just asked me the name of the street & came to get us. By the next morning, we had fallen in love with the town and changed our itinerary for the rest of the trip to spend more time in Matera, but they didn't have space for us to stay longer. They called around and found us a place at another amazing hotel. When it was time to check out, they had it all arranged to simply simply transfer our bags and pick up new keys at the other hotel. As for the hotel itself, the rooms were huge, clean and very unique. Very cool hotel in an amazing town. "

"The room was very unique as it was in a cave. We had great service from the staff and a lovely breakfast too. When you walk in the room, it is beautiful. The location is brilliant too as it is near lots of amenities and in the heart of the old town."

"Unique hotel in unique city. Amazing breakfast and special spa (additional cost). Staff super helpful. So much to explore we only scratched surface in 2 days. City has stairs EVERYWHERE . Tibetan bridge a nice hike nearby."

"Accomodation is situated a few minutes walk from the Sassi. The apartment is very comfortable and quite spacious. We did a self check-in which was very detailed and easy to follow. "

"Great hotel in Matera for those who don't mind driving everywhere. The hotel itself is excellent - the rooms are large and well-appointed, the breakfast is good, and the staff are knowledgeable and helpful (they provided very useful recommendations for both sightseeing and dining options). And there's ample parking on the property itself. For us, it was the perfect option. But it's important to note that the hotel stands on a busy road without sidewalks. So, even though it's within a 15-minute walk from many restaurants and within 30 minutes from the Sassi, it's highly inadvisable to go by foot and you should plan on driving. On the plus side, we had no trouble finding parking near any of our destinations in town. "
