You can hear the waves crashing on the beach. The dunes give you some privacy from the crowd. The Beach House was nice and it has a checker board table which we enjoyed. The property manager was so nice and helpful. We had a great time there, just wish we could have stayed longer. The only thing I recommend is to bring bug repellent during mosquito season. It was a short hop over the dunes which lends wonderful views from the second story balcony (where we ate dinner and enjoyed the sunset). The beds were comfortable. The kitchen is stocked with pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen basics. The second story balcony was an absolute delight. Zero obstructed views of the beach. We could hear the waves we were so close! The property is missing some minor conveniences that other similar properties on the island offer at the same price point. We had to supply our own paper towels, toilet paper, hand soap for the bathrooms, trash bags, and dish detergent for the dishwasher. Throughout our stay, we discovered these missing items and had to frequently go back into town to buy them. The speaker on the living room TV was blown. The outside furniture was broken and dilapidated. The ceiling fan in the master could not be used as it seemed it might fall from the ceiling. Sheets were wadded up in the closet. We had no internet. Had a password but no network. Someones underwear in the bathroom drawer. The unit seems not to have been updated since the 90's.
