« Great location. Within walking distance to restaurants, theater, and ice cream shop. »

« While they have no control over the major lightning storm that took place while we were there, they did provide a safe and cozy environment for us to watch the light storm as it boomed and lite up the sky overhead. We were able to open the hidden bookshelves and watch the light show from the store front window. The only advice I would give is come with an umbrella or rain coat for unexpected weather and a portable fan as it is humid and hot outside and in the loft in the summer. »

« We chose this place for its convenient location to Spoon RIver Festival towns. It worked out perfectly for us. The place is just right for 2 people! »

« cute property, however, the noise was difficult. Trains, local bars with live music, other guests coming in late and making lots of noise. »

« The property is nice but definitely an old building. Also the windows had cracks in them, bed wasn’t the most comfortable thing I’ve slept in but it gets the job done. Cleaning fees are a bit much on this property. There’s no central AC and only had two AC units which one of the bedrooms didn’t have one. And the door was hanging off the hinges. All of that can be good a side though. Check in process was easy, neighborhood was nice, location to Peoria was decent, it is equipment with everything...

« My stay was for the month of September it was very comfortable, very well decorated management was always very accommodating to any needs and had some very nice amendies. I would not hesitate to recommend to Sycamore Acres. »

« Fantastic stay here in Bartonville. They thought of everything, and it was so incredibly welcoming. The ONLY caution is that I'm not sure the couch would really be considered a "pullout," since it really just folds flat like a futon, so I may not be able to bring my teens with me to comfortably sleep here next time. But there's so much room and the kitchen is fully equipped for making meals – it might just be a matter of requesting the air mattress for the extra sleeping space. 😊 »
