Disappointing
I wanted to like this place. The gentleman who checked us in was friendly and accommodating. Our room, however, was run down. Despite the large size of the motel we were put into a room between two rooms occupied by apparently long-term guests, smoking outside our room. A hibachi stood outside one of their rooms. The suspended tile ceiling in our room was drooping and ugly. An insect was entombed inside the framed picture on the wall. Wifi was problematic; we wound up using my cellphone as a mobile hotspot. But the beds were clean, there was a fridge & microwave, and we didn't have any problems with our neighbors. I think a breakfast is available at this hotel but we didn't take advantage. Essentially we paid a higher price than other nights on our trip for a run-down room we were happy to leave.

Was disappointed to find out that the restaurant was not open. Rooms need a little TLC, but everything is clean and comfortable.

Just a place to stay warm.
All I can say is it was clean. Entrance door you could see parking lot around the frame. Chain lock was broken. Shower rod ready to fall. It was like stepping back in time. Breakfast was sad. Milk and cereal, no bread.

Sad day!
We about froze! The heater didn’t work much! We slept in our clothes trying to be warm! Was thankful to be off the road but it was ruff being so cold! Glad we did have hot water!

Stay only if desperate.
Dirty, desolate and tub held together with duct tape. Floors felt damp. Breakfast left alot to be desired....a few apples, coffee, tea and maybe a bowl of cereal offered.

Please anyone read before staying! Horrendous!
Nothing was clean, half the lights in the place did not work. Went to eat under their pavilion with my children. It had so much bird poop and dead birds, yes I mean multiple long past dead birds, that I nearly vomited. My room was not much better. I pulled the beds out in my room "129" to reveal cigarette butts in my non-smoking room, 2 eggs behind each bed, soda cans, dirty diapers, brown toilet bowl, pubic hair and pee on the seat. They said the phone lines were down but the wifi was working. So they purposefully moved me to where wifi did not work. I know this because when i was leaving, the man who checked me in said in his room he did not want us slowing down his wifi. Oh yah, i know it was his room that the front desk man went into because when i was checking out he left his curtains open. He was sleeping there without much cloths on... not what my family and I was paying for. I feel tremendously disrespected and all most insulted by Wyndham for allowing my family to stay in this dumpster. THERE NEEDS TO BE SOME REPERCUSSIONS FOR THIS. IT IS NOT ACCEPTABLE.

I don’t recommend anyone stay here
Hotels.com charged me for the room then the hotel also charged me for the room so I payed double for a not so clean room. It had hot water and a comfy bed but that’s about all I can say.

The bathtub calk was black/dirty on 40% of the surround, tile by tub was almost black/dingy in front corner, bathroom door frame was coming apart, only 1 bath towel in room, TV needed special instructions to get cable system to work, telephone in room didn't have a wire to plug into wall plug. Even though this was a low cost hotel you expect much higher quality from a Wyndom Branded Hotel!!! Old,dingy and poorly operated.......really?!

Looked like bates motel. Deserted looking. Report said 16.4 miles from Reelfoot Lake, but it was 60 miles from the lake. Very misleading.

Underwhelming
Both stays, coming and going to Chicago, breakfast room wasn’t open at the appointed time, and didn’t have the king bed reserved, nor any towels on the 2nd stay until we had to call twice, which reminds me, phoneand fridge in the room didn’t work.

The place didn't look used. It looked like it had been deserted. We were the only ones there and it was 5:30 in the evening. Everything on the exterior looked like it needed a lot of work. The curtains in the room didn't hang properly. There was outside light coming into the room all night. I hardly slept. There wasn't even a lock on the door for extra security. This place should not even be approved for guests. We would never have stayed if the room had not already been paid for.

Creepy run down looking motel from the outside. Drapes inside filthy and falling off the rods and look terrible from the outside. Sofa had dirty mismatched cushions. Bed was comfy with clean sheets. Bathroom was clean. Bag for ice bucket looked reused.

It’s midnight and the front desk person was not in the front. Had to stand outside while it’s cold and had to call the number and he answered the phone like he was sleep and didn’t say nothing. Had to call again and he said come to the window. Waited 15 mins for him to come to window. Pissed..never will come ever again

Terrible Hotel
We had no choice but to pull off the interstate and book 2 rooms for our family because of a snow storm. This hotel is terrible. The staff was kind, but they almost seemed embarrassed by the conditions of the hotel. Our key cards did not work, neither did the tv. The heat could only get up to about 60 degrees and the blankets were not much thicker than basic sheets. We froze all night long. The toilet barely flushed. There was so much hair in the in drain that it completely ruined the idea of a shower, which doesn’t help without warm water. In the morning when we were making sure we got all of our belongings, we found multiple old articles of clothing shoved between the beds and the walls, all layered with dust. The breakfast was laughable. There were 3 sausage links, about 3 apples and 1 rotting cutie orange. No milk and the coffee creamer expired almost 5 months prior.

We got stuck in a bad storm driving through central Missouri and needed to find a place to stay quickly. Staff was very friendly at check-in and were able to accommodate our dogs even though Expedia didn’t give me the option to reserve ahead of time. The TV volume wouldn’t turn up above half-way, but I didn’t want to have them come in the room with the dogs. The room was clean and AC worked well.
