The views are expansive and beautiful. Comfortable beds and furniture. The kitchen is well-kitted out with all you need to cook. Communication with the owners was easy and they were very responsive. A number of small details made this cabin homey and convenient, like lots of places to hang wet towels, board games, and a plethora of throw blankets for snuggling on the couch after a cold day of skiing. An easy 10 minute drive from Bigrock Mountain with hosts who were very responsive. And did I mention a well stocked kitchen?? Our favorite rental to date (and there have been lots). We needed a quiet break and this cabin was perfect. Restaurants nearby but plenty of privacy. The decor was perfect and the design of the cabin was well thought out. The property is on the back side of the mountain, just minutes from the ski area. As convenient and close as the location is to Mars Hill and local amenities, it felt like it was a world away from everything. We enjoyed snowshoeing and tobogganing behind the cabin. This cabin, of new construction, smelled of fresh pine, and was fully stocked with everything you need for day-to-day luxury of home. Unique attributes of the property, was a photo album of the construction of the cabin. Absolutely gorgeous views, tucked into the shadows of big rocks keys resort.
