Riad Medina D'or is situated in a perfect location to access most of the tourist attractions in Marrakesh. The staff are very welcoming and helpful. They are available always at your disposal for whatever assistance needed. We only spent a night, but it was memorable. A very clean and traditional environment. My wife and I were treated to a traditional tea which was very soothing.
We will surely visit again, and we recommend it for others

Great riad the hosts are really polite and helpful!
The rooms are nice. If you are there please try their food its the most tasty that you can find in Marrakesh!
We had the most wonderful stay here, the staff were so friendly and accommodating. The Riad is beautiful and perfectly placed for the Medina and getting to the pick up locations for excursions. The only thing I would suggest is to think about lighting for doing make up! The room is fairly dark for that. Rooms had nice fixtures and great air conditioning.
We had a great experience at Riad Medina D’Or. Hotel was great, authentic marocian style, room was clean and spacious. Staff was amazing, polite, respectful, helpful and friendly. Location of the hotel was perfect, minutes walking to all attractions. We definitely recommend the hotel and will be back. Thank you for an amazing experience.
The Riad is very well located, with easy, quick and simple access to the main square. Staff was really kind and helpfull. The room was well-decorated, with all necessary amenities, and very comfortable. The bed was great, and they change towels every day. I would just add some fruit to breakfast.
Everything about Riad Medina D’Or was great! From the welcome to the departure, my friend and I were minded with the upmost care. My friend is a celiac and the Team at the Riad made she she had breakfast each morning that worked for her. We booked day trips through the Riad, which was seamless and unforgettable. The room was cleaned each day and spacious for 2 people. Highly recommend.
It's right on the centre of the Medina but so very quiet. It's a simple life, like think a very nice bed and breakfast with very good rooms but nothing's extra, great beds, nice showers and toilet and you eat breakfast in the main room.
Staff speaks french and english, family owned
Instead of a Riad owned by rich foreigners so if you live here you are not supporting that the.prices go up.
The riad is perfectly located in the heart of the city, within walking distance of all the main attractions. The rooms were nice, clean, and beautifully decorated, creating a cozy and authentic atmosphere. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and a perfect way to start the day. We also used the riad’s transportation service, which was wonderful — they were punctual and even helped us with our bags. Miloud and the rest of the staff were amazing — very friendly, welcoming, and always attentive. We felt safe, comfortable, and well taken care of throughout our stay. It was a truly lovely experience, and I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting!
Amazing hospitality. The hotel is well kept and the staff are extremely friendly. From arrival to departure, the experience was excellent.
Location and first impressions
Convenient, safe neighborhood with easy transit access and good dining nearby. The lobby is welcoming, bright, and tasteful.
Check-in and guest services
Smooth, efficient check-in with friendly front desk staff. Thoughtful touches like welcome water, a quick amenity orientation, and a detailed local map.
Rooms and amenities
Spotless room with an incredibly comfortable bed, high-quality linens, and supportive pillows. Modern bathroom with a rain shower. Quiet enough for restful nights. Reliable Wi-Fi, ample outlets, seating area, coffee station, and a well-stocked minibar. Housekeeping was outstanding.
Staff and hospitality
The standout is the staff—genuine, attentive, and proactive. Busier hotel, but service remained warm and personal.
Had an absolutely lovely stay at Riad Medina D’Or. The location is awesome since it’s really close to the main square. The staff were extremely hospitable and very responsive to any questions I had. The breakfast every morning was delicious and the room was super clean and very authentic Moroccan. I would definitely return! Highly recommend to solo female travellers as well.
Cute little riad! Staff not always on site so can be hard if you have any questions. Otherwise very nice place!

The hotel was in a fantastic location within the Medina making all the sights easily accessible. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The room was great and breakfast in the courtyard was an ideal way to start every day. We would definitely go back again.
On arrival the night before my reservation they said my room was unavailable and moved me to Riad El Wiam near Jemaa el-Fnaa. Staff did not explain price differences or refund options, and I was forced to pay transportation in cash at checkout with no receipt. The experience was stressful and poorly managed. I contacted the hotel and Expedia but have not received a satisfactory resolution.
