« I chose the hotel partly as it has it's own restaurant which was important for me after an 11 hour drive. On arrival to my surprise I was informed that the restaurant was closed (no obvious mention of this on hotels. com). No offer of a cold platter was made and I was told that there was a pizzeria in the next village! The room was OK but very old fashioned and had seen better days. Breakfast was excellent with great choice of sweet and savoury products. On departure I wanted to hand in my key...

« Bien pour deux jours. Chambre sur rue donc forcément un peu bruyante car l’hôtel est situé à un carrefour. Bonne literie propre. Salle de bains à revoir en revanche. Accueil plutôt impersonnel. Bon petit déjeuner. Attention, l’hôtel a trois étages et pour les valises lourdes pas d’ascenseur. Hôtel bien situé pour aller visiter le Konigsee qui est magnifique. »

« Hôtel bien placé, 4 étoiles vieillissant. Mériterait une mise à niveau des standards actuels. Très bon accueil au petit déjeuner, copieux et bon. Ambiance familiale, moins impersonnelle que dans la plupart des hôtels. Nous avions demandé une chambre avec baignoire mais ça a eu l’air de les ennuyer quand nous l’avons ré précise à l’accueil. »

"I chose the hotel partly as it has it's own restaurant which was important for me after an 11 hour drive. On arrival to my surprise I was informed that the restaurant was closed (no obvious mention of this on hotels. com). No offer of a cold platter was made and I was told that there was a pizzeria in the next village! The room was OK but very old fashioned and had seen better days. Breakfast was excellent with great choice of sweet and savoury products. On departure I wanted to hand in my key and pay for the beer I had consumed but no-one turned up in reception after 15 minutes wait. I was not alone in waiting. All in all very poor service "
