« The property, to no fault of their own, was very noisy due to construction directly across the street which meant we could not enjoy the pool. The manager was not around a lot, I had a complaint about people in the pool after midnight, they were smoking and drinking until after 1am but the manager was not around to tell. I would stay there again, but I would google map the area to see where the construction was taking place. »

As a New Yorker where customer service is top priority, this place checked all the boxes. The staff was professional and courteous, room was clean, alot of space and the location was great. « The Rufugio del Mar was a beautiful property. We stayed in building 2 which only had 7 units. They all had their own kitchen and bedroom/s. The staff were super friendly and the pool and gardens were immaculate. I would recommend staying on the second floor if possible as the lower units can be a little dark and do absorb a bit of noise from the above units.
