"We were the first booking for the season, so felt like we had a the whole place to ourselves. The property, and our villa, were incredible and the views out to the ocean were amazing. Loved our villa and was perfect size for our family. Appreciated the fresh fruit. Our host was there to greet us and communication throughout our entire stay was excellent. The property is beautiful, and it felt so relaxing to enjoy the sun in the Cretan hillside. Only wished we stayed longer!"

"We enjoyed our stay here - the staff answered messages quickly, and the room although basic had everything needed for a few nights stay including a small well equipped kitchen area (kettle, coffee machine, stove hob). Bathroom was small but perfectly useable. A bit more information about the area would be useful but that's what the internet is for. Check in was via a coded key pick up. The location is about 15 minutes walk from main areas of the town. "

"Great location, accessible parking and easy-ish to find at night. Some amenities unavailable (espresso pods, toiletries, laundry soap, drying rack). Strangely, none of the tv remotes contained batteries. A/C was functional and the mattresses comfortable. Steep marble staircase made it a little treacherous for tiny kids. Breakfast downstairs was an easy win."

"The staff were lovely and very accommodating. The first room was by a rather busy road but they kindly moved us to a better, quieter room. Our room had a hot tub which was clean and lovely and warm. "Wonderful stay, great location, with welcoming and helpful hosts. I booked one night for my family, and stayed a couple of nights as a solo traveler, and it was ideal. Great private beach, comfortable and clean rooms, delicious breakfast and tiropitas, bar access for the pool or the beach. Great place to hang out, also close to the airport, Knossos, and the old city. Would highly recommend. "

"We had a lovely stay at this hotel. I was pleasantly surprised with the food, it was always fresh, tasted good and selection/variety was impressive. Buffet always clean, and well maintained. The views from this hotel are mesmerizing, sunrise and sunsets are beautiful. The only minus for us was that if you want to go to the beach you need to pay for lounge chairs, it wasn’t very expensive. The beaches near the hotel are kinda rocky, if you want a nice sandy beach there is Agia Pelagia Beach, it’s 10 min drive. The housekeeping lady in our section was so friendly and helpful. In general all hotel staff was very friendly, we had no issues. Definitely recommend this hotel "

"We enjoyed our 10 day trip in Happy Cretan . Everything was good close to nice beach. We enjoyed the bike ride that is offered by free. The only complaint was that first night in the restaurant that we went the bill was to expensive compared to all restaurants in the Crete. "
