The widow shutters rattled all night keeping us awake. I heard another guest complaining. The shower leaked under the screen onto the floor. Only one set of towels put out The pool was closed for refurb. The hotel is in an urban setting with no gardens and nothing nice to walk to nearby.

The hotel, room, pool, breakfast, and underground parking were really great. The only knock here was the neighborhood, next-door brothel, and distance to stores. But I'd stay in the hotel again without hesitation.

Worse hotel I stayed at.
Items in bathroom were broken and covered with a black bag and as I complained about it they decided to charge me €100 about 30 minutes after I left the hotel which I am claiming back from my bank.

Cockroaches, cuckaracha, in bathroom.
Cockroaches (cuckaracha), x 3 then a 4th, in the bathroom. Huge!. The first 2 spotted and reported approx 3:00 in the morning. They ran up as high as towels & toilet tissue. Although staff caught and flushed away those 2, and the 3rd, we couldn't use the bathroom from then on until morning. Kept bathroom door closed. Early morning 4th cockroach spotted, housekeeping staff were then available so mopped and cleaned all the surfaces, and changed the towels and toilet roll. Staff sprayed some beasty deterant - assured us that it was not poisonous to humans but to give it at least half an hour to disburse. Had already explained that husband has asthma. So essentially no bathroom. No other room (apparently) available. No complimentary soap, shampoo etc. Refund refused, but allowed to stay in room for extra few hours. Breakfast lovely. But NEVER AGAIN.

I’ve only scored it lower than excellent as it’s going through a lot of work at the mo the outside the hotel is a little messy but it’s great location for the airport, less than €10 to the airport. Apart from that this is a lovely hotel really modern and got some nice staff, only stayed a night but would defo stay longer when I visit Malaga next time.

Beyond dissappointed
The area felt unsafe. Thankfully we had a car, as I wouldn't have walked anywhere. It was surrounded by an industrial estate, with people sitting on the corners, pushing trollies and the rubbish was awful. There was a casino, that felt very out of place and I didn't understand the need for it. Air conditioning didn't work. Pool and rooftop bar said it was open until 10pm, it wasn't! The whole area was shut off. Very disappointed with this, as that was one of the reasons why we booked the hotel. Service at breakfast was atrocious! We had to clear a table in order to sit. We placed the plates and cutlery on the counter and they didn't even thank us or offer to clear the table. Coffee order was wrong, food order was wrong, and everything felt like an inconvenience to the two members of staff. They took our coffee order and then started chatting. When they were speaking in Spanish I very much felt like they were talking about us. We put the empty juice jugs on the counter in the hope that they would refill them, they didn't. Everyone who walked in didn't know what to do, people stood there waiting to be seated but no one acknowledged them or helped, it was embarrassing to watch. We actually told one man to sit down. We had the most expensive room and it didn't feel any different to a cheap hotel room. The toiletries were basic and stuck to the walls in dispensers. There was no door to the bathroom, which wasn't something we were aware of when booking. Would not stay again!

Nice enough facility, but...
The hotel's casino and neighboring gentlemen's club in an industrial park neighborhood made the hotel feel a bit "creepy". Further, whilst checking in at night I found the corridors and hallways to be inadequately lighted-- I did not feel safe. The hotel feels much better during daytime hours whilst naturally illumined. The facility itself is modern and clean. The housekeeper was helpful and professional. The hotel advertises an airport shuttle, but upon arrival Reception was very vague and non-committal about being able to provide the shuttle service apparently due to a taxi strike. Given that the local taxi union is now striking on a semi-regular basis, hotel management should have had a back-up plan to provide shuttle service despite the local taxi strike. For most guests, the main reason for staying at this hotel is proximity and transportation to the airport, so if there is no guaranteed shuttle service, what's the point of staying here?

We have to thank very warmly the hotel Manager who helped us personally to return our rental car and organise our transportation to the airport the next morning. There was a taxi strike last week-end in Malaga and without his help we would have been in a terrible situation. We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights September 2022. The hotel was very good, the room was large and very clean The location is in a commercial area but only a short walk into main area. The desk staff we’re very helpful, the male member of the restaurant staff we’re less helpful very rude only thing he was interested was how much money he could make out a customer. Charging 3euro for ice to my room, refusal to allow my wife to take a glass from the restaurant to our room, it very much spoilt what was a good experience

The check-in process: Despite Expedia promising immediate after-hours check-in as I arrived at 1:30 am, I could not get a room because the booking was extremely late in arriving to the hotel (over an hour after I had booked, it still had not arrived). I eventually had to pay for a new room in order to get some sleep, which the hotel reimbursed in the morning. Personnel were super helpful, but had an error in the system and gave me an already occupied room.

Horrible place! Don't stay here!
Worst place I've ever stayed at. Where do i begin? It's in a terrible neighborhood with a view of a warehouse covered in graffiti. No door to the bathroom and toilet with a window from the bed to the bathroom offered no privacy at all. No cups in the bathroom. I asked for them and was told (in an attitude) that they could not provide cups. No toilet paper holder, an almost empty roll of toilet paper and no spare, no soap dish or shelf at all in the shower. No where for shampoo bottles, etc. The fridge didn't work at all. Plastic lawn furniture in place of actual chairs in the room and the stained sofa covered with a sheet. Ants at the breakfast bar, and a very low quality paella at dinner with almost no seafood in it. The pool closed at 8pm but we were told the rooftop bar would at least stay open until 11pm. It closed at 830pm and they cleared everyone out so you had literally no where to go other than your room. Our "suite" had a view of a wall. I could go on and on, but suffice it to say i definitely DO NOT recommend staying here. Low quality all the way and i feel deceived and ripped off. Horrible. Really.
