Great Easter Trip
Very impressed with the size and standard of the room. We had a twin suite and was so spacious with a kitchenette. The roof top pool is such a bonus as enabled us to get sunshine all day. The hotels lift up to street level was a life saver as saves climbing those awful stairs to get to torremonlinous main town square. Breakfast was great, particularly the standard of coffee which was very good. Great selection of food at breakfast. We had a late check out and the hotel Were so accommodating allowing us to leave bags all day then shower in the spa. Only criticism would be the price of food and drinks within the hotel itself in comparison to nearby bars for during the day lying by the pool. Overall a fantastic hotel would highly recommend and we will be back.

Aguamarina stay
Excellent location near to beach and rail station. Room well fitted out and cleaned every day. Indoor pool a little too warm but good on a cold day. Will return but hopefully better weather!

We were disappointed with our stay as we had originally booked a suite at the sister hotel which ended up having to close due to covid so we were moved to a different hotel. We were only given a twin room instead of s suite with a double bed. We had also originally booked a sea view room which we ended up not having

The hotel is nice, the staff is very friendly. The food was just ok. We like to go half board for the food and on this occasion I feel it did not worth it. The hotel however is very good, cannot really fault anything. The only issue was the chlorine in the spa which completely ruined my swimming costume so be aware of that. Overall good experience.

This hotel is rated 4 star on hotels.com, but the conditions and services don't warrant the rating. 1. I specifically chose a hotel in the area with steam room. However, the steam of this hotel only worked one day during my 6 nights stay. 2. The room condition is shabby. The bathtub has relatively large spots of damage with porcelain chipped away and underlying metal exposed. The shower door can't close properly, leaving water splashed to the bathroom floor, creating a hazard of slippery. 3. There is slippers or pyjamas which are usually available at many 4 star hotels. 4. The hotel doesnt provide conditioner, which is a complete surprise to me as this never happened to my travel experiences. I had to buy conditioner from local store. 5. The indoor swimming pool only opened between 11 am and 7 pm, making it less useful since as tourists we usually were visiting places during daytime and wouldnt be able to enjoy the swimming pool. I chose the hotel specifically because it had an indoor pool. Unfortunately, I didn't check its pool hours before booking it. 6. The king size bed listed was actually made up of two single beds with a clear edge in between, making it quite uncomfortable. On positive side, the hotel's restaurant had good breakfast and its staff were friendly. The location is close to the beach with a 5 minute walk.

I liked the cleanliness in the room, the room was spacious, the pools, the location very close to the beach and the promenade with the restaurants, the supermarket next to the hotel. I disliked the lack of communication when I arrived such as where the breakfast is, where the pools are, what time is the check out. The towels for the pool are £10 deposit each, and £1 for EXCHANGING them for clean ones. The price is too high compared luxurious hotels in the same area. If you want to put your luggage in the storage area for the day, the reception give you the key and you have to do it by your own meaning that any customers can access to your luggage. There was a kettle in the pool view room but no tea or coffee.

The hotel is perfectly located close to everything: beaches, restaurants, shops, town centre.. Booked this hotel for the swimming pool and spa options. The staff was very friendly. The spa was nice, lovely staff and nice heated swimming pool. The room (junior suite) was big enough and had a small kitchenette, which was useful. The room was supposed to have a city view, but it was more like a rooftop view. I wasn't very happy about the cleanliness of the room (bathroom door was dirty on one side - had juice or alcohol spilled on it, the tiles were a bit dirty, having a yellow-ish colour.. ). Even if the cleaning lady came daily to tidy the room, there wasn't much cleaning happening. The furniture and amenities were outdated, not suitable for a family with child. The balcony door was rusty. The double bed was actually 2 single beds which will always move when sitting or sleeping on it. There was no hand soap/hand wash in the bathroom or dish detergent in the kitchenette for cleaning the dishes. There was a hand towel in the first day, but it disappeared the next day (luckily we always pack towels in our luggage). The breakfast seemed diverse, but half of the options seemed to be taken from the frozen aisle, heated and served as fresh (e.g. tinned mushrooms, canned pineapple, frozen pastries.. ) and almost everything was fried and greasy, nothing suitable for special diets for sure. In the morning we could hear the cleaning lady tidying the apartments, very noisy.

Overall experience was good
We have got upgraded room for a couplw however we were facing literally the wall. Our room was allocated on 3rd floor but because it was really low from the hill side, we didn't not feel safe to leave a window open. You would of feel that everyone could walk int there. Staff verry nice and friendly, breakfast reallly tasty. Would of recommend it for sure but maybe different view or higher floor in the hotel.

Perfect location & great for budget stays
Had a fab week at the MS Aguamarina. It was great for our young children as hotel footprint nice and small so could always see where they are. Nice size pool with a baby pool so our youngest enjoyed splashing about! We were in one of the older rooms which needed updating but the newer rooms looked nice. The food selection was good as we were ALL INCLUSIVE. Taxi rank outside was good for when we visited the local Aqua park with the kids. The hotel is 1 min walk to the vast beach front with all the bars, shops and restaurants so again great for kids being so near to everything. There is also a mini golf and kids amusement arcade round the corner. The hotel had a stunning indoor pool which we never used but it looked lovely right next to the hotel gym and nail salon. The hidden old town is a few roads behind the hotel so the location is great and for that reason I would go back to the MS Aguamarina

After reading quite bad reviews we were a bit worried on what to expect, but found the staff friendly and helpful, we did not use the restaurant but found the staff on Reception courteous and knowledgeable, the bar staff were friendly, our apartment was a standard room this was clean and comfortable, although a bit dated, I understand there are major refurbishments taking place throughout the Hotel. We will return and would recommend the sea view apartments (our Daughter had one) which was lovely and very modern, the bathroom was a dream and bed was huge. The hotel was near all shops, supermarkets, restaurants, bars and beach. There is a lift nearby which takes you up to the main shopping area it cost 50c per person and was well worth it and suggest you walk down to see all shops and restaurants on offer. The town itself was great and good for families.

Large apartment but not much privacy as both bedrooms had large windows without glass , big balcony but facing a large wall and trees, never got any sun, service was great. A lot if elderly people in hotel, not many families.

Good value, but not the best.
Good location, there is a back door which lets you very close to the center of Torremolinos, and the beach is around 150mt from the front door. -There are two swimming pools, an out and an indoor one. The one outside does not have enough space for all the guests, so if you are not an early bird, you would probably not have a place to stay or leave your things while you are in it. -The service could be improved. The room service is done around 11am, and if you don't request it one day, you will wake up because of the noises and shouting. The cleaning is not that great, and the dish washing IS NOT done by the room service staff. They told me I should buy the soap and sponge and clean it myself. -Very noisy. I was not bothered by this, but some people might find it annoying. I would recommend this aparthotel just to -young- people who are not planning to stay many hours in the hotel during the day, do not mind these things and find a VERY cheap deal, this way it could be a good value for money.

On arrival we found that the room, although being quite small in the bedroom was adequate however the Air Conditioning was not! We complained on several occasions but nothing improved! We found the hotel/room to be quite dirty. We felt the seats were also dirty inside the hotel and outside too. I am a vegetarian and although I complained to reception on several occasions there was hardly anything specifically provided for vegetarians, most of the rice/pasta dishes were accompanied with meat and nothing was labelled so I had to sift through food. We had to endure a protest/demonstration taking place outside the hotel opposite, once again I complained to reception but to no avail. Finally on our last day we couldn’t have our evening meal since we had to be at the airport at the time of sitting

We were offered an upgrade to apartment vs studio booking. The catch was it was not well maintained, not very clean, the a/c was not working well, and finally, some a/c unit in the ceiling leaked 'used' water in the bathroom. We tried to speak to the hotel manager, who was not available to see us unfortunately. While the staff tried to help, they had limited options.

DEMAND A ROOM ABOVE THE FOURTH FLOOR!!!
We traveled from California to Torremolinos to be placed in a room with a view of the roof and a row of air conditioners. When I immediately went down to the desk to request a room above the 4th floor, I was told it was impossible. So, we spent two weeks with a no view, next door to a noisy bunch of drunks who kept us awake every night for a week., even when we complained to the front desk and 1:30 am & 3:30 am. They should have been asked to vacate when this occurred almost every night. I will never stay there again if I do go to Torremolinos. Shame on the hotel for placing older folks and families next to rowdy, young, inconsiderate travelers, then making us suffer. If we had not prepaid for the room, we would have moved down to the Bajandillo Aparthotel run by people who care. The rooms are in dire need of updating and painting. They are just tired and dingy--room & furniture. The maids were friendly and efficient, but they can only do so much with dumpy rooms. We actually left a day early . If you use this hotel, DEMAND A ROOM ABOVE THE FOURTH FLOOR!!! before you go! And, if you get uncaring neighbors, call the front desk constantly until they're asked to leave, or relocated to another room.
