We like the location near Jonkers and the room quality has been reasonably consistent over the years and pricing is ok. Breakfast quality is basic. The coffee was somewhat weak. Staff always available to help. Breakfast provided was good variety buffet of local and Continental items. The history lesson both in and of the house and Melaka was worth the stay. Air conditioned rooms and comfortable beds. Very efficient, polite staff. Interesting and comfortable lounge/foyer area. Clean and comfort rooms with everything you need. (The laundry service was wonderful). The only thing to note is that the ground floor room we had looked out onto a walkway and so we didn’t open our shutters for privacy reasons.
